You are the only person in this world that spoke the truth in this video. Staring with JavaScript html and css. With this technologies you start building things you can show off in the internet with friends and people. But I'm yet to see a beginner that can show me a hosted standalone python project on the internet. People will always tell you start with python because it's simple and easy. Lol, Javascript is also easy, I don't see anything difficult in Javascript. One nice thing I love about Javascript is the curly bracket used when writing a function, it makes things cleaner and neat

The only thing you failed to mention, and I do realize it would kill the energy in the video, is that the reason FE Devs or any dev would make 100k or even 300k a year is because 97% of developers suck. Great devs are hard to find and keep.

Really enjoy your perspective on development. I've been struggling with what direction to head in as far as development. School crammed so much languages and theories in such a short time I realize now that trying to learn as many languages at once was a mistake. Now I feel Im just going to refocus on the languages that apply to getting my first tech job etc...JavaScript being one of them. Most job posting I've seen are indeed Java , JavaScript , Node.JS , React.JS . I think its best I recenter my approach in just stick with Front-end fundamentals as you suggest then grow there. All about longevity. Awesome video !!!!!!

Programmers are like forgerons, they need to forge to keep their edge , you cannot stop doing it . Every day is grind day and training day. Bit by bit , but stuff advances. The hardest part is to get good ressources because no one really shows where to get the good material stuff especially when you are a beginner and need a LOT of guidance.

Would you say that Nodejs/Express is the popular backend choice to use with React? I've spent a lot of time learning css/JS over the years, and then moved to React. When choosing a backend, I went with node js just because of the progress made already in JS. Personally, it's also nice to not have to make that mental switch from different languages if not needed.

@@sewaksingh6189 the most logical decision to do next is learn javascript, it is a must . Once you are done with it . There is a lot to do with javascript and css and html. So a good thing might be to do some projects combining all these 3, so that you can get familiar using all 3 of them and learn their interactions. Also a very good advice, start using a very good ide like visual studio code where you can use all thise 3 languages and have some intellisense help you out.

You can get a job, yes. But there is a big competition. Imagine how many developers that also know html, css and javascript that is also looking for jobs. My suggestion is to know also the backend so you could increase the chance of getting hired from a population of junior developers. Have fun coding, dont rush things. 😉

@scott_itall8638
@scott_itall8638 2 жыл бұрын
@@NeoGeoKage We all learn differently, it all depends on what you want to achieve, for me its always project based and then i crash course myself as I need it. You can't know everything, learning the concepts are far more important once you know the concepts of programming, you can pick up any language. Python is fantastic and should be in all programmers back pockets, I use it daily to sort out all sorts of mundane tasks at my work, watching colleagues do the same stuff over and over is infuriating when you can bash out a script in less then 10 lines to save them hours! Think of something you want to build and then build it, if you want to use Python build something in Flask first which will force you to learn HTML/CSS and JS any way.

I'm currently doing Zero2Mastery's React course (after learning HTML, CSS, & Javascript). As I learn and complete this, would it be worth it to get a HTML Email developer role for right now and then apply to a Front End Developer role once I finish?
