Depending on how you play with princess in the gy and a strenna on board it's possible to make a board that's not dead if evenly strikes. Leaving you with 2 interruptions (either 2 negates or a negate and a tribute, your call) If evenly doesn't shred your board you can still have sheets and Lancer for 4 interruptions+ any hand traps

I'm not sure if Jess did it, but in this build you could side in one evenly going first and use it as a cross out target if you wanted to.

Not running Regulus feels like it would make the deck very vulnerable to Evenly Matched, something that will be even more prevalent next format since Lab will get a resurgence. I wonder if the Therion package will be better after the banlist.

@@shinjiokami Because you can use Lonefire and Petal to link into an extra Jasmine and then use Twin in grave to banish itself and the first Jasmine to reborn Healer and get another search off Jasmine.

when u start with unexpected dai, lonefire is a must because its full combo (lancer, strenna or teardrop, hyperiton, konkon, princess and sheet) on its own, no more cards needed. in addition, in case they interrupt dryas you can go to jasmine, jasmine tribute for lonefire, lonefire tribute jasmine for loci and try again. In many hands, (especially those that draw primula) lonefire is good because you need more level monsters on the table to get 2 xyz. it is also necessary in case you play cactus bouncer or naturia rosewhip on the sidedeck.

Mmm... i like this list more than the other one, considering that Lonefire in hand is an additional Petal or Loci, but when you don't have it and want it to be summoned by Jasmine, isn't it cooler to use the Therion Engine still? I feel like without them, there's no need to have a 7th normal summon and your end board gets wrecked instantly by evenly 😅, i mean i understand the cut on the engine because Droll is the thing you don't want to see and makes the engine useless, but an additional piece of end board, if you don't get drolled, is really cool (also i have a Starlight Regulus and i want to use it 😂) the only thing i'm not familiar with is the Crossout. I get that so many HT are in the format that disrupt our plays, but it's a high risk high reward card that generally ends up being bad (at least when i tried to use it). Anyway, congratulations for the result 🎉 Plant best deck 😊

So close to having a back to back rikka win for UK Nats! Do you think next format crossout will still be necessary or even good if less people play handtraps?

Ratios may be reduced, but crossout still hits that Single HT they are drawing. If they don't, just set it for other non-engine like the talents. You can try changing up the non-engine that it has a wider use. Maybe cut some targets to 1 or 2 and add additional ones. If people Main Dark Ruler again, Main one yourself for Crossout. No Therions and afraid of Evenly? Put one in, also possible via siding in this list.
