I recently fell in love with the plant deck and I wanted to tell you that I admire you for the way you play this deck and for all your achievements in Competitive Yu-Gi-Oh! its really impressive. I would love to learn how to play this deck in real life and thats why I wanted to ask you If you have an updated deck profile or if you would still play it as you showed in this video. I ask you because I think you are best and I dont really trust other people´s deck profiles when it comes to plant deck

So, I haven't looked into Plants very much before; I only just made the deck for the Link x Fusion event, and I can't help but wonder...what's the second Strenna for? Is it so we have a tribute target that can float into the Rank 8 Xyz?

Any thoughts on the 40c version with no therions and no aroma that was doing really well in rated ladder? I think its interesting as its counters maxx c more consistently

I wish we didn't have to run so many main deck bricks now, but it really feels like this deck wasn't hurt that much by the banlist. 50 cards seems like the sweet spot with all 4 engines competing for space. I'm still trying to unlearn the old lines(md cope), but this guide gives me hope that there's still some innovation to be made. Previously, i was on fenrir+small world/141, and that was cracked(even teched ingunar to make it work with unexpected dai), but now our zones are so clogged that theres no room for tech that can't be used towards the end of the combo. There's gotta be some altered sequencing to squeeze more out though. This deck is far from fully explored. 🔥

Here's a minor question if anyone knows the answer. I'm a bit concerned about taking this deck onto the ranked ladder, because I have bad enough experiences with most decks there anyway. I also lack the UR dust/collection to run the full nonengine packages here; Dark Ruler I own none of, Talent I own two, and Thrust I own only one. Could I potentially try to run a Cactus Bouncer setup and the two Forbidden Droplet I own instead, to try to force the opponent to have more specific interaction? Especially with Tenpai Dragon being so prevalent on ladder; Bouncer + Hyperyton + Magnolia forces them to have exactly Droplet Storm monster discard and full combo in the open to even play the game at all. Or is it just not worth running in a best of one format?

Yu-Gi-Oh! needs a reboot. Both the anime and the tcg. The mechanics, rulings, card effects etc. needs a revamp. Maybe it could include a resource system? Konami needs to start listening to their community and discuss anything before making any changes to the card game. They need to either give cash prizes or give prizes worth a lot of money to World Championship players as well. If the game is based on how "lucky" and how OP the expensive cards are then it's not about skill. It's about how much time you have and how big your wallet is.

Hey Jess, i know im a bit late for this but thanks for your hard work every time, i really appreciate yours tips (moreover your knowledges of this deck) to clarify the combos, i tried to use my TGC list for my plant deck (with tcg limitation too meaning i only have 1 call by, 1 dryas) but i feel like its kinda limited against the current deck and more bricky than this current list so i assume id have to learn these différent combo too when im on MD and not playing in locals ;)

Feels like half this list is "generic staple that goes in every deck" Maxx C, Ash, Called By, Crossout, etc. Every UR known to mankind. Then it's just a pile of expensive plants. You got, like, the Broke-ass version of this list? or do I just need to be ready to play the best card in this game, Credit Card, if I want to go beyond plat5?

Your right. I agree I haven't been competitive since 2010 but the card design are questionable. To me it's a power problem as well they are pumping these new cards out and it's taking over to a point where if your not using every trick at your disposal you might as well as scoot to the next. It's become a game of im going to win in 1 to 3 turns that's it. Not saying it needs to go way back but let's stop pumping out new cards that make everything else fodder. I mean I don't expect to win every game but man I still would like to actually play not just well I lost on my 1st or 2nd turn.

Played U today at Blackburn regional round 1 was the ritual beast player was a pleasure to play against U I know U left but I managed to go 6-1 and come 6th and got my 1st regional top Ty for being kind today hopefully we play again :)

I have been playing this deck quite a lot, but always struggled with followup. How does this deck keep playing after getting hit with boardbreakers? It usually felt like Darkruler+evenly won the game instantly. Sure, i still have interuptions left, but i cant create any meaningfull pressure with an empty extradeck.

for the rosa combo, if you summon dancepione in the other zone (w/o snowdrop arrow) you can overlay into strenna, add laurel->summon, snowdrop target self so you end on 2material teardrop, magnolia and benghalancer

I'm very new to Plants and I've always liked more complicated decks, but I needed a good starting point for me to truly grasp what I can do with the deck. I tried following along in Omega so I could start with the same hands you did, but Strenna's tribute effect is bugged there. Thankfully, I grasped the bulk of what the deck can do. I just need a *lot* more practice.

I've been using your plant combo and been following your combo line. I think there's a bug with lonfire blossom - sometimes when i use its effect to tribute, my king rigulus just dies on my hand even with borea on the grave - each time this happens im so sure that i haven't resolved rosalina/petal/princess. Am i missing something?

As a person who recently got back into yugioh via master duel and stumbled there way into plants, just wanted to say your videos are a god send help wise and I'm enjoying plants which give me the first old yugioh feeling I've had since pendulums came out (not to disparage pendulums thats just when the game felt like it changed for me)

Curious if your opponent max c's and you dont have ash or called by how far would you go into combo?

I found out a youtube channel named Fellhype that has incredible plant gameplay, they also sometimes use the Sunavalon Link 4 that can search a crazy trap and tribute Bangalancer to pop 4 cards, I guess it's less consistent/competitive but it's so fun

I feel like I time out consistently with plants. Is this just my lack of familiarity with the combos? It feels like time is very tight on this deck.
