Hi Nu-Trix, Thank you so much for your awesome channel and top 40 apps list soo many cool apps. Interested in your thoughts on FabFilter Plugin Bundle... at the 37min mark it seems to have cut off and moved to WOW before you finished your sentence. I'm new to IOS music production and keen to get a core set of FX plugins and they seem like the industry standard and currently 25% off. Do you recommend getting them?

They are great audio plugins. For mixing and mastering these are my go-to plugins. They can be perfect as traditional plugins as well as weird and creative plugins. Good choice for a core mixing suite.

They want to force us to stay inside their synth/daw ecosystem and sell us more of their synths. It’s frustrating because their synth exists on Mac as AU. I’m not creating new stuff in Gadget anymore because if it.

@@Nu-trix that’s exactly right. It’s an active decision to NOT go AUv3 for they have more than enough resources to do it. And you’re right about the ecosystem too - they want to keep Gadget 2 as the ‘Korg’ DAW and not have to face the competition from AUM, Cubasis, Arturia, Beatmaker, Nano etc

Are you creating tracks in Gadget them exporting the audio tracks on at a time into Auria Pro in order to add effects, arrange, mix and master? I am asking because I like using Nano Studio 2 but it has no Audio tracks.

Yes, I’m using Gadget or anything else (apps or dawless) then I transfert everything in Auria Pro and finish the production them I switch to mixing. When all the songs are mixed I switch to mastering mode and I use Auria Pro again with this in mind.

Hi Nu-Trix, I currently own an iPad 4th gen which only supports iOS 10.3.3. I want to buy a new iPad but I still don’t know which one to choose. I want an audio jack so the iPad Pro isn’t an option for me. What are your thoughts and recommendations? Thanks 🙏 in advance.

The basic concept is the fastest the better and the biggest the better. I’m not sure if Apple is selling any new iPad with a audio jack anymore. If you are looking in the long run it is clear that the future of the iPad is without audio jack. It might make some sense in investing the an audio interface and the most recent iPad possible, it will last longer.

Nu-Trix The Synth Guy As far as I know, only the iPad Pro 2018 doesn’t have a headphone jack. It has only USB C. All the others do have headphone jacks. Is the iPad Air 2019 a good choice? Is has a fairly large screen, headphone jack and it has the powerful Apple A12 SoC inside it.

Emiel333 Official, in that case yes the iPad Air 2019 would be a good choice. The CPU and the headphone fits your needs. Still remember that this will probably one of the last iPad that has headphone out. So you will need to prepare for some sort of audio interface for iPad down the line.
