Based on your suggestions i went with the infinity for the fronts and the jbl club 6x9s in the rear on my non-externally amped system with a modern aftermarket head unit. HU is 22 rms x 4 and just with that, huge improvement.

nice outcome that I was expecting to hear. reason: for factory replacement two things matter a lot. High sensitivity and lower impedance to make the most out of the lower powered factory amplifier/headunit. Both jbl and infinity are the only speakers on the market that take care of this aspect hence they're the best for factory replacements.

Maybe some distortion on some super high volumes, but that's it (I was recommended a 3ohm speaker replacement in my back doors (for a 4ohm OEM) from infinity by a Crutchfield employee, the front doors are 4ohm).@@lictorrez7381 Other than that they sound fine and super good,

Never errd a pair of 6x9z like a set of mid 70s, tenna mindblowers..They would still blow the doors off any 6x9z then and now..esp hooked up to a pioneer kef 500 supertuner...nothing with that pairing comes close too..

Hi Rob, get JL audio MX280x4 channel amp please get this if you can, little pricy but trust me no amp in the market can beat. The MB Quart you see these days arent the same from 20 years ago.At one point they made really good speakers but they were bought out years ago. Neither is Cerewin Vega.

Yea I got a 2000 watt nvx running at 2ohms @1300 watts on a 4ohm resilient sounds gold 12” wired down to 2 ohms and it is a beast bro

The top two speakers are 3ohm which will cook a standard stereo amp and make it work too hard. This list is for standard stereo speaker upgrade so this list and research is very questionable.
