Sam Raimi's Spider-Man movies gave us some fantastic characters: Peter Parker, of course. Toby McGuire's "loser nerd turned hero" was great. JJ Jameson - irreplaceable. JK Simmons plays he loud mouthed arrogant jerk with fantastic put downs and one liners that everyone loves. Norman Osborn/Green Goblin - Willem Defoe did to perfection. His mirror self-confrontation was superb. They say its always good to have a villain with a realistic motive. His Green Goblin was purely driven by insanity. Doc Ock - Alfred Molina's "Frankenstein" under the control of his "Monster" arms.

In the part where MJ falls, you can see Ned run at her and grab a pole after he doesn't grab her. Either he is trying to save her, or push her off. This could be in refrence to Ned being the Hobgoblin in the comics, who rides a glider and has a hood. This is kind of out there, but entirely possible.

Liked the scene where Dr. Strange prevented Peter from getting rid of what seems a satchel and telling him he ‘can’t alter their fates’, implying that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has its own version of Star Trek’s Starfleet General Order Number One- The Prime Directive. I have 3 THEORIES of my own, which no one is covering, 1st thoery- Why peater mask has removed in front of doc op?. Because Peter has sent his nano suit around doc op tentacles,and so that's why he is not able to cover his face after that, because of that doc op can't move his tentacles. So through our the trailer you can see that doc op's tentacles has red nanoboats around them. That's why he is in control of his mind and is helping Peter Parker. 2nd theory- At 2:10 of original trailer video, you can see goblin, but he looks exactly like Harry Osborne from Spiderman 3, amd he was also killed in movie so a big possibility that he would also be in this movie 3rd Theory- The fight around statue of Liberty has those iron rods around it, it looks exactly like the last fight from Spiderman 3 It's possible that venom will also be there, because of mid credit scene of venom 2.

One thing I'm a bit scared of with the film and the fanbase is that if Tobey and Andrew aren't in the film then people online are gonna rage and give it a 0/10 and quit with doing anything Spiderman and Marvel related, and demand a Tobey and Andrew cut of the film. I read this comment and went back to watch the trailer. The part where Doc Ock says his name and the part where Peter says "no seriously what's your name" they're clearly not in the same room. Ock is standing around rubble and fire, while Peter, MJ, and Ned are standing in like a basement

The trailer was cool. But the Gen Z conspiracies (the obsession with Andrew and Toby) is destroying all the fun. I hope Ock ends up switching sides and helps Spider-Man fight the others, just so all you can be mad for being so wrong. Ock can already be seen fighting Electro… Electro blasted him through the window.

I'm sure the second goblin will be Hobgoblin it gets along with the fact that Peter's best friend Ned Leeds in the comics took this role for a while, in addition the actor was asked to shed significant weight for the role, in my opinion at the height of the film his best friend would become his enemy
