It’s hard, since Spider Man rivals Batman in terms of his rogues gallery. He has so many colorful and memorable villains. I mean, Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, Shocker, Vulture, Venom, Kingpin (yes, he was a big Spider Man baddie before he was Daredevil’s arch-nemesis), The Lizard, Carnage, Electro, Sandman, The Rhino, I could go on. My personal favorite is a tie between Kraven The Hunter and Mysterio.

He's my favorite Spiderman villain simply because he was the first movie villain I truly ever rooted for. Sure, I felt sympathy for Imhotep from the Mummy franchise due to his love for Anak-su-mun and the heartbreak over her abandoning him, but he was still too scary and caused too many terrifying deaths for me to want him to succeed. Sandman holds that place in my heart as the first movie villain whom I truly wanted to succeed in his goals..

To me is Killmonger and Green Goblin tied at first, given the fact that they have so little screen time compared to Thanos and Loki yet still leaving an impact on the watcher says just how good they are. But if I had to edge it out killmonger actually had a message that may apply outside the context of the film whilst the green Goblin is more of a traditional evil guy (of course he's more complex than that) but he won't challenge the watcher of the movie only the protagonist of the film.

SM3 was undoubtedly what killed the Raimiverse, but I can remember people comparing it to Batman & Robin and that always felt unfair to me. Sandman was a great character, and it was nice to see Peter and MJs relationship being portrayed more dysfunctionally than the prior films. Of course, Topher Grace was an abysmal choice for Venom and failed to even approach the character of Eddie Brock, but the symbiote suit effects were excellent for the time, and while he wasn’t Eddie Brock, he made a good pass at being a Bizarro Peter Parker.

Can I say something that's only, like, half-true? Spider-Man is nothing without his villains. Again: only half-true. In the last 20 years, we've gotten three different live action versions of Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland) who have all been varying levels of excellent, and an animated assortment of Spider-Mans (in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) that was just as good if not somehow better. If Spider-Man was truly nothing without his villains, all 10 of those Spider-Man films would be, well, excellent. And while most of them are entertaining, not all of them are excellent. And part of that is because villains are just so, so important to the very fabric of what makes a Spider-Man movie great.🥰🥰🥰🥰

Whenever lists are made about the top supervillains for each superhero, The Joker is pretty much locked at #1 for Batman despite many strong contenders. But Green Goblin, Doc Ock, & Venom always seem to be in a race for Spidey... except on the big screen where Eddie Brock has yet to really make a huge impact as an antagonist. The venom movie however got the size & intimidation right but the characters story all wrong (well mostly wrong) but in venom let there be carnage they got his character a bit right with the inclusion of venom having to eat either chocolate or human brains to survive which was actually a thing in the comics & oh boy the post credits scene was awesome. ( though I won’t spoil it for you mate) the only nit pick I had was that Venom was a bit gay.

Norman Osborn (Green Goblin) is arguably Spider-Man’s Number 1 villain and arch nemesis for he had committed a lot villainous murderous deeds in Peter’s life, For he tried to destroy Spider-Man from the inside out by taking away everything that matters to him, after brutalising Tobey’s Aunt May, Goblin tried to kill MJ in hope to remove his mortality and break him enemy before his original death. He than tried again to break His foe in MCU only this time he went too far as he murdered that’s worlds Aunt May in cold blood and unleashed the corrupted spell on the multiverse (Therefore, sealed Peter’s fate and forced him to sacrifice his old life to stop it) Also, even after death, He than appear as a ghost/hallucination in Harry’s mind in hopes to motivate his son into taking vengeance and destroy his friendship with Peter, no matter how reluctant Harry was.

Kinda dissapointed that JJJ didn't make it to this list. He's actually the greatest Spidey villain in movie history (as well as in comics until recently)

I feel like the amount of impact and damage a villain does to a hero's life is what makes a villain great, Goblin does the most damage to Peter's life and puts him to the ultimate test in No Way Home, so Willem's Goblin is definitely is the best in the franchise!

Dafoe's Goblin is by far my number 1, Doc Oc is a close 2nd. Dafoe gave an absolutely menacing performance in all of his appearances as the Goblin and his latest one was a career defining performance, worthy of an Oscar. The Green Goblin (specifically Dafoe's version) is the most terrifying Spider-Man villain yet.

After seeing NWH William DaGoats Green Goblin is the greatest MCU Film villain! His performance absolutely wipes Josh Brolin’s performance! That's the evilest evil possible! Not even Thanos can come close to being this evil! Hopefully we'll see Dafoe play the Joker one day!
