You should check out some of the buskers in Dublin... Dublin City Today, BCT.. It is raw!!! Buskers have been around forever, but I think their time has come if any would pass it on.. Sean with BCT has something going on...

I once filmed a busker from a distance and he stopped his performance and told me to stop filming him, obviously you can film anything in the public space and he carried on like child in front of everyone as if his performance was of a higher virtue then to be filmed by a tourist. Anyway I love buskers, especially in Melbourne.

There's talent here but there is also an unpleasant fashion for vocals at the moment - all this music crushed in the throat with saccharine vibrato and weird falsetto intonations - an odd universal phoney accent thing. A great many of these people could really sing if they tried. Nice to see what's happening anyway. Any buskers out there - particularly younger ones - do yourself and everyone else a favour and listen to the full range of material so easily available now - singer songwriters didn't start with Bieiber or Sheeran or their soundalikes. Can anybody write original material as well that would be good to hear. The passing punters may not tip so well with originals - but if it's good songwriting the talent scouts will pick up on your work eventually and that may be worth more. Thanks anyway.
