Good sprint passing all but 1 at the end. Bummer to have the thunderstorm role in and affect the race that way.

Yo! Great content lately, and impressive race results! Really caught my interest when you mentioned aiming at the 24-hour title. I'm 36 and have been on and off the bike for years, definitely more off than on, and currently about 3 years since my last ride. A solo RAAM win has been on my bucket list for over half my life now, and I haven't given up hope yet. For the first time in my life, I may actually have a combination of job, income, and health to start training for this soon. I was prepping for the Hoodoo 500 race a few years ago, but unfortunately had to cancel plans when I got laid off and all my training time got consumed with long commutes to cheap manual labor jobs. The 24-hour title is also in my sights as I look at a long-term plan towards the RAAM. I've never been as fit as you, maxing out at just over 4 W/kg after a few months of training, but you definitely provide some inspiration and motivation, showing it can be done! I wish you the best of luck, and I sincerely hope to see you at a race within a couple years! (My name is Tyler too, for whatever that's worth!)

Always love these, and it's great to see an example of that delicate balance of family (kids), relationship (wife), sport/hobby, and business. It's a delicate, challenging thing to work around but you're killin' it. Watching your kids grow and be better than you is far more rewarding than any FTP gain or podium - though we gotta treat ourselves, to be mentally fit, better people for our loved ones.
