Once again great info the only thing there are a lot of other dates that you didn’t talk about for the month of April. In my area if you go fishing in April for bass and don’t have a spinner bait or a tube or lizard Texas rigged you will be missing out on some large fish. You guys do a great job it just seems like you don’t take location of the viewers into consideration you ball everybody up either up north or down south and that’s where you leave it

Great video. Things were going well with warming trend and starting to see some bright green vegetation sprouting. Fish were starting to be active and I was catching 4-5 bass each time out all on cranks and underspins. Then nature decided, let’s change it up and bring in 30 degree highs with 18-19 degree lows for three straight days. Now I can’t buy a bite. .... these videos are great for reference. Right now I go out with a moving bait and a slow bait for a 1-2 combo.

We need a few days of 60 degree weather and wind from the south and it's gonna light up! New Swimbait rods are in, and whether it's smart or not, I'm 85 to 90% committed to Swimbaits. I'm not entirely Swimbaits and occasionally,a jig, frog, or jerkbaits tied on but the last four years I've been committed to Swimbaits and had two of my best years in Massachusetts after bass fishing for over 30 years. Thanks guys! Breaking out of the Cabin this week.

Agreed. KZbin is awash with spring videos for red crankbaits, red lipless, red chatterbait, all talking about mimicking a crawfish, but no one seems to say “pick up a red jig with a red craw trailer”, the most obvious crawfish imitation lure. Maybe it’s a reaction bait thing?

It’s really fat at the head and tapers down into a normal lipless. I caught a lot of good fish on it last year. I fish the upper most reservoir on the Coosa river called Weiss Lake. Y’all should take a trip down here sometime. Not to far from Chattanooga. Check out the map of it . It’s really cool lake 40,000 plus acres.

I line up on a shoal bank yesterday where I saw a bait fish flicker on the surface.. about 3 feet up on flat went into the creek channel and then the other side was the 45 shoal bank… skinnier water.. could cast from bank to bank… but I lined up and I couldn’t figure out to throw a crank a slow rolled wobble head, blade bait, spinner bait… I threw everything but the kitchen sink.. even tried topwater. Never thrown a topwater this early…I saw great temps but visibility is like 6 inches in a body of water that is normally 15 feet I can’t get bit right now for the life of me.. about to sell my boat haha
