Yes indeed! Love barbershop 💈 scents on ANY beard product!! Can use it over and over and NEVER get tired of it. I haven’t smelled a lot of those but one thing I know is Beard Octane is unbelievable! 😃

Another great review Trusted Teacher. I am also a huge fan of the Barbershop scents. My grandfather use to take me to his Barber all the time when I was child. Some of my favorite memories of him. The Barbershop scents take me back to all those great childhood memories.

I can't really argue anything on your list. There's different genres of barbershop scents and you found the best of each. Fresh Beards was my first so they have a special place in my heart, but they fall in Luxurious Bastard's genre. I really enjoyed Skully's but Beard Octane wins that one. The approch Bearded Bastard took with theirs they deserve to beat out everyone. The uniqueness and quality they bring to the table is unmatched

I love Babershop scents. I have the Beard Octane Barbershop in oil, balm and butter. I use it all the time and love using the butter st night. I got to smell the OG from Luxurious Bastard. I've been thinking about getting the one from Honest Ape but now I'll have to add the other 2 on my list.

Obviously, this is my GO-TO scent. Dan C turned me on to Beard Octane right at the beginning. It's been my daily but I just got my package from Lil Lux so I'll be rocking the Original Bastard on alternate days. As to the question posed, I'm bald and I have a beard that I don't let anyone cut but myself. I like the barbershop at least partially because I miss that smell of walking into the shop. I also love that it's an easy, widely appealing type of scent. Thanks for all of the ongoing help, Dan C. This video is going in my favorites for ease in finding again and again.

Great rundown, Dan! I’ve not tried TBB Barbershop, but it sounds right up my alley. I love Beard Octane’s barbershop scent because it’s so unique. You get the fresh scent all day and yes, feel in beard is top notch-anyone who hasn’t tried Beard Octane is really missing out! I grew up with that old school barbershop as part of my life. My grandpa went there pretty much every day to hang out and I went with him often. In the past year, I’ve gotten back into it, as I go to a barber that does great fades and trims my beard up so good. But just as important is the experience...somewhere to go and relax and shoot the breeze lol.

That sounds like a pretty solid lineup! Warmer weather seems like the perfect time to throw on a clean, refreshing Barbershop scent and there's definitely a few on here I hadn't considered. For me, the best Barbershop scent so far is a tie between Freshbeard's 1920 and Beard Octane's Barbershop. That being said, I just placed an order with Honest Ape a couple days ago and it just so happens that Miles was one of my pics so I'm eager to see if that's gonna knock the others off the ladder! As for the experience...I'm still trying to settle into a new barber, but once it becomes routine it's such a renewing feeling to get a haircut and a straight-razor neck shave - almost like a new pair of socks or underwear, but for your head! Keep up the good work brotha!

Honest Ape's Miles is one of my absolute favorite scents! I don't think I'll ever get tired of the smell and it lasts for hours on end. Oh yeah, and it feels amazing in my beard too!

One of my favorite go-to categories as well. I have the miles, love it. But my favorite all time is the 1920 by Freshbeards. I haven't spent too much time in true barber shops. My favorite has to be the “Floyd’s” barbershop scent from Chesapeake Beard Co...I love putting this in beard anytime I leave the barbershop after a fresh cut or even when I can’t decide on which oil/balm combo I want to use for the day. Brings me back to the old school barbershop vibe when I was kid. The barbershop I always go to is full of Puerto Ricans & Dominicans so I fit right in. Loud island music and baseball is always the topic of discussion anytime I step in the shop.

I’ve only used one barbershop scented oil and it was from barbershop beards on Etsy. I absolutely loved it. I only got a 1 dram sample and I’m using it sparingly it till I get more. It’s got that talc scent that I love. Just clean and fresh. I’d love to try more.

I don’t have any barber shop scents yet but am looking to get some when I boost my beard oil lineup over the summer. I love going to the barber but am so nervous to get my beard trimmed there. Ive never smelled a barbershop oil but back in the day before my shaved head days my homeboy was a barber and the smell of the barbershop is what in imagine lol. Great descriptions. I'll have to keep these in mind. I like barbershop scents which, to me, include a hint of bay rum from the aftershaves and hair tonics. My barber's shop has chairs with Cosmetologists, so I haven't had a real barbershop experience in years. But my barber is top-notch, so that more than makes up for it, I think.

And to answer your questions, I would say man beard is exactly what I was looking for when it comes to a barbershop scent. So yea, it's pretty perfect. Then do I like the barbershop setting? No, I got in there for my cut and that's it. Don't talk to me about anything other than my hair lol. Sounds mean but I like to just close my eyes and relax.

Before I grew a beard, I used Colonel Conk's Amber scented shave soap to shave. I don't miss shaving, but I do miss the Amber scent. I would like to find a beard oil or balm that has a similar scent.

the bearded bastard barbeshop eucalyptus woody boosie and hind of shaving creme notes in one word so so texan scent very manly very wonderful and the dry down wow very soft woody and quality ingrédients on top! i am a fragrancehead and believe me the fragrances barbershop by the bearded bastard it waaaaaay better and perform waaay better then 520$ Creed aventus fragrance. man u totally right!
