Tetatronic Rippler: All you need is three perk points in the quickhack tree and you get a base 12 ram recovery without any added from the decks. This totally made it a BEAST for me. The cooldown reduction meant I always had something to use on the next gang member in the fight.

@@iceman5117 ultimate hacks aren't legendary hacks Hacks have different classifications, such as offensive, stealth or ultimate, those are mostly insta kills or knockouts, which is still great, as for all the others you rarely need the multiple infections

Additionally, you'll spam ultimate quickhacks. System Reset and Suicide have Ram cost reduction clauses, everyone will be pinged so you'll also get RAM back from defeating enemies, the Breach perks will also turbo your RAM recovery and reduce costs by up to 3 constantly and 6 for the first Quickhack after a Breach. All of this combined means you can spam System Reset and Suicide with basically no Cooldown and each upload will cost you 1-3 RAM. It's absolutely OP once you combo the legendary quickhack passives. The only part that kind of sucks is that the spread from the cyberdeck doesn't work either with the legendary Contagion passive or with perks that affect the number of spreads and spread distance. If by any chance, someday, CDPR makes it so that this spread is affected by Plague and the perk that doubles the spread distance and the passive from Contagion, this Cyberdeck becomes the absolutely best, no questions asked and not even a contest with the Netwatch. Personally I'm using the Netwatch to keep the game a bit more challenging for myself, since I'm having fun spreading DoT quickhacks and running in with the Monowire. Using the Terratronic Rippler slotted with the following legendary quickhacks and the proper RAM perks (the quickhacks: Suicide, System Reset, Short Circuit, Synapse burnout for the Panic passive, Reboot optics for the extra Daemon in Breach due to a perk from Breach, and Ping), it's like activating a cheat mode on the game in which you bind a hotkey to kill all enemies around you.

Tetratoninic mk4 is the best You have plenty of perks to compliment it as far as ram recovery goes...every time I defete an enemy I recover 4 ram...period...on top of the reduced ram cost perks and recovery speed cyberware...I'm never out of ram

Yeah I kind of wish there was a "cybernetics tree" this would require nerfing all cybernetics as a base but then buff some but have higher "temp" cost to use. Points in the cybernetics tree allow you to increase your affinity (like how David has high tolerance) that may allow for greater clearing of your system reducing cybernetic cool downs. Plus higher processing power allowing for stronger cybernetics or more simultaneous cybernetics. Finally a way to reduce the frequency and severity of cyberpsychosis events. Could be people looking like someone else (a civilian, child, cop, ally, enemy), terrain looking different, even thinking quest objectives are complete when they're not. Unfortunately that would be very hard to experience in a game.

Combine the Netwatch with contagion and watch the fun. It spreads to most, if not all, enemies in an encounter. My preferred setup for a Netrunner. Add in a smart pistol and a smart SMG for the clean up phase your in and out in no time. Oh and don't forget the short circuit quick hack for bots. Plus its passive is super handy.

I absolutely love using Reboot optics with Netwatch it spreads to almost anyone with just one use of Reboot otpics, making stealth missions a lot easier. That and that you can one shot multiple enemies with short circuit and just keep on spamming it, they all die

Yup pretty much the build I use, Contagion plus Netdriver and a throwing knife/mono wire. Hack a cam, and let contagion run wild. Stroll in whistling a tone grab the data or the poor gonk I was hired to deal with and walk out without ever firing a shot haha.

I love using the Tetra with a stealth/combat quickhack build. Short Circuit and Contagion have low ram costs, and with that increased upload time, most fights are halfway over after two uploads. Once you grab a ram recovery upgrade or two, you're pretty much untouchable. ...It's been 84 in-game years since I last needed to shoot a gun. Not sure I'm playing this game right.

I'm currently using a built that involved the Rippler. Your main problem is the lack of Netrunner oriented cyberware and perks. Biosynergie helps a lot with the atomatic recovery but what really sells the deal are memory boost, daisy chain and "forget me not" was the name of the last perk. Forget me not and memory boost both give a lot of Ram back with each kill when killing an enemy via quickhack or any other methods. Daisy chain allows you to almost completely eliminate the cooldown of ultimate quickhacks. If we combine those factors with one or two cheap offensive chickhacks like short circuit and contagion you get almost all your Ram back with each ult quickhack because you're killing up to 2 guys with each use and in case you somehow manage to get low a good contagion or short circuit should fix it. However all of this combined with perks that reduce Ram cost and legendary quickhacks that also offer Ram reduction this rarely happens. In a good netrunner built the ults are essentially paying themselves.

Tetratronic Rippler vs Netwatch Netdriver is just a matter of what you want to do with a dedicated netrunner build. If you want to quickly decimate one or two targets with each quickhack, the Rippler is the way to go. If you want to build your Netrunner to take down three to five enemies with each daemon you fire off, then the Netdriver is your best deck.

Pair the Rippler with a few bits of armour that reduce cooldown and upload speed, add a few perk points to the one which keeps your RAM above a certain minimum and the one which recovers a unit when you kill and you can level an entire base with only System Reset and Suicide.

a good way of countering the whole thing around RAM recovery is with an actual netrunning build, there are a bunch of frontal cortex implants that make it better as well as in the intelligence tree. oh and the short circuit hack is really good. also a quick tip, invest some of your perk points into the breach protocol tree, it helps a lot with stealth, damage and even reducing the ram costs.

Stuff like the ex-disk is certainly very useful! I'll be tackling some specific netrunning builds before long. I've enjoyed testing these without a build first though, as it highlights the strengths and weaknesses of the cyberdeck's themselves. You know, I didn't even bother with the Sandevistan and Berserk for half of the game, mostly because Cyberdecks are that universal. No matter if the mission is stealth or guns blazing, decks are always handy as a general use multitool

With the right perk investment and additional cyberware, the Tetratronic Rippler has no issues with RAM recovery.

For number 2, there are perks built around ram recovery when a quickhack takes out an enemy or when you infect them with a quickhack to reduce the next quickhack cost. Plus there’s bioconductor which reduce cooldowns further and brain cyberware that can improve ram recovery faster. Honestly, the Rippler is a very strong cyberdeck built around ultimate quickhacks and fast quickhacks. The last one is mostly built around offensive quickhacks but both are exceptional for netrunner builds. #4 I would suggest is for beginner netrunners as it takes twice as long for enemies to hack you and it comes with its own ram recovery perk. I’ve also noticed if you have the Self-ICE cyberware paired with bioconductor, it’d basically be impossible for enemies to hack you.

Have to say I'm with others with the Rippler. It's useful to be able to drop someone who's charging at you. I want to like the Netwatch deck but it just feels slow after working with the Rippler. Contagion is a must have in my QH slots though. It's great for crowd control. While they're all clutching at themselves you drop pick em off.. System Reset is another must have.

See I'm the opposite. Love the ripple, but it's a little overratted. The netdrivers arguably has one drawback which is minimal being upload time, which I've found you can easily get to about 30-50% with clothing mods for quickhack upload time. Sure it's not the 75% but the difference is minuscule if you're also running around with blades or a gun

During my last playthrough, where i've been using mostly shotguns, i had for the most part the netwatch mk5 cyberdeck installed. And oh man, is it efficient. I was able to put my hands on few ultimate quickhacks even without putting 20 points into inteligence and it was fun using cyberpsichosis on my enemies and then shooting them down with my shotgun. I did end up putting some points into inteligence, but not so many. One could probably survive reasonably well with such a build without much hassel. The part where you get to upload quickhacks to 3 people and the lower ram consumptionfor ultimate ones is very op in my opinion.

Been running this weird Quickhacking LMG Bruiser build; use Contagion to keep the enemy reeling and mow them down with 100 rounds of pain when they inevitably stumble out of cover, throw down the odd Shock when I'm reloading. With that both the Tetratronic and Netwatch performed miracles, though I noticed the Netwatch made for a much bigger opening salvo, allowing me to effectively one-shot a cluster before I laid into the rest of their buddies.

The rippler next to the "recover 3 ram on takedown" and having a kit of legendary quickhacks in your deck completely nullifies the conplaint about ram. Ive found i can effectively cast self-die and system reset for a combined 8-10 ram, since i get a cost reduction from the previous set of casts getting 4 takedowns. I recover 12 ram from those casts, and can recast them about 6 seconds after they resolve

The Fuyu Tinkerer is my #1 for a contagion build. The duration equals 50% more damage for straight dots so it really packs a punch. When you get to legendary quick hacks it gets unfair. The contagion and your spec give you more jumps. If you run cripple movement everything under your contagion is slowed to a walk. If you run sonic shock anything with contagion is cut off from the network and can't communicate or hack to find you. I just run contagion and short circuit for damage and the rest for contagion and breach protocol passives. After a good breach most enemies will drop from the first dot after it jumps away to deal more death.

The tetratronic takes it for me. The short upload time + Contagion can clear a whole building before anyone even notices what's going on and the +1 spread on legendary hacks like suicide gives you pretty much the same effect as the Netwatch, cause i think it's still bugged and uploads normal hacks only to 2 people instead of 3. At least that's how it was when i played.

nothing is going to be as satisfying to me as simply walking through a facility, glancing at any enemies along the way, and forcing a System Reset. I've never had much problems with the Rippler and recovering RAM, usually I just have so much to go around that it's not even really a problem. Maybe it's just because I usually just don't move as fast as I could through missions (and I barely ever use weapons, tbh).

The netwatch deck is AWESOME with contagion. Also short circuit will hit multiple people. From what I can tell the area effect is not 6m around you it is 6m around your target. So if they are all bunched together you can just short circuit and entire group.

Its hands down the most broken one... Just get the contagion out, let it spread, finish your initial target with short or overheat before he finishes the reveal and you will have whole building of clueless goons ticking down from contagion while renaining hidden And thats on harfest difficulty, on lower ones contagion can ko every normal goon on its own. As a bonus, the netrunner is basically infinite RAM cheat... When you upload SC for 6 ram but ko 3targets each restoring 4ram...

I was gonna post how to make the Tetratronic have no RAM issues but a lot of people already did it. Instead, I'm gonna say my ONLY gripe with the cyberdeck: The spread of Ultimate Quickhacks that the cyberdeck gives isn't affected by ANY perks or legendary quickhack passives that affect quickhack spread (for example, Plague, which increases the number of jumps a quickhack can spread to). If I could get only one thing in the patch notes it would be changing this so it would jump to even more enemies.

My 2 cents. The Rippler is indeed VERY good at what it does. My logic behind potentially using the stephens would be more for someone who wants to use quickhands like "whistle" Or "request backup". That said, those effects are fairly niche and may not really even matter. My best guess would be using the long duration quickhacks, because they're challenging themselves to stay completely out of sight, and enjoy taking a "Splinter Cell" level stealth approach. That's just my thinking for why one would value duration over just dropping everyone with their minds.

I wonder if the raven microcyber deck would synergize with self-ICE? Self-ICE is pretty handy if you're the "ping a network, take over a camera somewhere from outside the building, zap everyone" kind of hacker, but eventually I do get caught when my self-ICE cooldown is up. I use the Stephenson Tech Mk.4 for the 50% increase quickhack duration. With the Legendary Cripple Movement you can have a boss be forced to sit and do nothing for 20 seconds while you apply a 15 second Overheat and unload on them with your weapon of choice.

I’ve only ever played on Cyberpunk 2.0, but I personally only use Netrunning as a support role, using perks to synchronize my RAM load with gunslinger build. I don’t think I’ve ever struggled when it came to RAM, but I don’t know if this is the same as when the game released.

Lemme just say: Max out hack spreading, weapon glitch for messing up guns and some damage, contagion for strong chip damage. If its a small group of enemies, the spreading circles back on the enemies and does a fresh dose of damage

I was a netwatch guy because of the 30% extra damage and the spread on combat hacks... But even for contagion the Rippler spreads FASTER and if one contagion doesn't kill because it deal less dmg, you can just repeat it. With the Rippler you also benefit massivle from the ultimate hacks and from a gameplay point of view, the ultimates come really at hand to deal with big bosses. Rippler is just SPEED, you turn a corner and there is an enemy looking at you, Zap him! Huge compond ful of dudes, Cyberpsycho 2 of them to bunch them and then contagion or suicide panic combo them. But I have to give the one hit wonder award to the tinkerer. If you really like contagion, tinkerer is the way to go. And the Arasaka is perfect for wallsniping because of the Ping passive. If you like stealth, Arasaka is good.

I hate the Net and Netrunners but I do like the Raven Microcyber Mk.4 I bought it just to make killing them easier I may do a Netrunner build next playthrough still using this.😈

Tetatronic Rippler: Got a frontal cortex that recovers 3 ram units when you defeat an enemy, so I'm always full on ram.

i remember for my first run being a net runner. but i was so over powered that i decided to just use a weapon instead. then became more overpowered. cause i later got the short circuit on-hit effect. using a smart shotgun. that would do 2-4k damage X 20 hits. then i decided to just melee (still same run) then i found out that crit stats depend on current loadout. so holding a blade with its blade perks can boost hacking damage. sinds i starting to get 4-6k damage on hit. dont know if thats still the case though.

I use mostly legendary quick hacks, I use ping so I can get a idea of what I'm going against also because I get bored and use weapons sometimes especially the Comrads Hammer as it does stupid damage and you can shoot through walls, I use contagion & Cyberpsychosis just to get some splash damage going and I use stuff like Short Circuit as most of the time that'll one shot anything but I don't think it's kills but it's especially good for one shotting robots, System Reset which litrally resets enemies Cybermods so they fall to the floor, Overheat & Synapse Burn to do spike damage if I want to make the fight last longer if I want to use weapons and mantis blades for fun, if I'm honest though I stick done quick hacks in my inventory to switch out when I'm messing about or know I need one for a mission.

The Netwatch is unfortunately bugged since just after this video came out. It's supposed to upload to 3 targets. You get your main target and two more if they are within 6 meters of your main target. Unfortunately, at the moment you're only going to get your main target and the closest neighbor 99.9% of the time. Occasionally some random set of conditions will get you all 3, but it's really rare. Supposedly CDPR knows about it, but likely it won't get fixed until the patch with Phantom Liberty. At least I hope it's fixed at that time. In any case, for now, I think that moves the Netwatch out of the top spot. The difference between hitting 2 targets and hitting 3 targets is a really big difference because most enemies stand in packs of 3. Especially the random gangoons you encounter on the side of the street or in alleys. Since it's bugged it means that you'll always need to do two quickhacks on a group of 3 to get all of them, instead of just one.

Actually Netrunner is the most easy way to go later on. Some say the hp leeching melee build is the most op. I actually say a well executed netrunner is by far more deadly. Done Missions from the other street sides walk way. Hack the camera and the dying starts

I Arasoka MK.4. Quickhacking an enemy with a quickhack refreshes it’s time… Does anyone know if ultimate quickhack passives refresh this? If not this seems useless because you could just recast ping for one RAM to refresh it. Seems near useless otherwise.

In my view, nothing even comes close to beating the Tetratronic Rippler. Upload speed is an absolute monster bonus, and while the double Ultimate spread and cost reduction may seem like the deck's primary features, those are really just the icing on an already grossly overpowered cake. Netrunner only wins out in resource starved situations - but those are few and far between.

The Rippler is defo better for a great many number of builds, and tbh it could've just as easily been number 1 here, the two are more or less on par. Something I'll defend Netdriver on though, is I think it's easier to use across builds which dabble in more than just netrunning, as you suffer less not speccing fully into RAM boosts. The spread on it is also great for contagion. But yes, Rippler is awesome and much better for applying a slew of quickhack's as quickly as possible (provided you're specced for it!)

@@SamBram I use the Stephenson Tech Mk.4 for the 50% increase quickhack duration. With the Epic/Legendary Cripple Movement you can have a boss be forced to sit and do nothing for 20 seconds while you apply a 15 second Overheat and unload on them with your weapon of choice.

Very few enemies are immune to the Short Circuit damage, for these you can use System Reset. In the release version of the game System Reset was also a great option to take out Cyberpsychos as for these you would need more than one Short Circuit, but they disabled this option in a patch.

I much prefer to use Short Circuit, Contagion, Overheat, Synapse Burnout, Suicide and Ping. With a lvl 20 Intelligence and the Netwatch Netdrver Mk 5 ram recovery is almost instantaneous. Just a wave of destruction from the shadows.

Tet rippler is a beast with contagion. It uploads so fast it almost looks broken. Literally makes me laugh. You are right about it being the fun one. Hit a small group with it and watch contagion bounce back and forth to them all almost instantly and watch them just melt. Hit and others with suicide or short circuit. I used to run netwatch cyberdeck and thought it was the best. The rippler definitely takes top spot imo

I want to do a netrunner build (preferably with quick hacks, only but I am willing to use guns) but the most important thing is, I do not want to be a glass cannon I want to be able to take damage. Can someone give me a build please?

Plenty of others have already said it, but the Rippler is the strongest Cyberdeck. Netwatch is a much more accessable deck, being able to take care of itself with relatively few perk points. This is why your tests shook out the way they did, as Netwatch is designed for a combat hacker playstyle who has put a large amount of perks into combat, and therefore doesn't have all of the RAM recovery and Legendary Ultimate Quickhacks. The Rippler, at full build, replaces your gun. It's simply more effective to spam quickhacks as any time spent shooting is time spent not uploading more quickhacks. But without a full hacking build, you don't have the resources to actually do that. Netwatch works better as a compliment to a gun, as its multihacks, while slower, give valuable AoE lockdown and disabling.

I dunno about not hitting Lucy levels, you can get pretty close. With the ultimates can spread deck, ultimate hacks, and a few skills I can wipe out entire rooms with 1 - 2 hacks total.

I still want to know how the hell netwatch lost even one of their cyberdecks! Like seriously it even mentions that you best not mention to net watch that you have it! Admittedly I like the Arsaka deck but that's literally just because the character I'm currently playing has the cropo life style and I feel like all the cyberdecks have some form of back door protocol but I would imagine that if you know you worked for the intelligence you would know about all the back doors for the deck the last thing you want is your deck exploding because someone managed to use the back door protocol

I find my netrunner almost never has to use a gun and when she does its a smart gun with high crit focus so my short circuit is procing to kill them even when i have almost no skills in guns.

I'd argue the opposite, rippler is the de facto go-to combat cyberdeck using all control quickhacks such as cripple movement and reboot optics. These control quickhacks all spread but they only spread when it's done installing on one. Rippler allows you to have everyone in check 4x faster and that's just unmatched. All you need is frontal cortex implant Memory Boost that recovers RAM per kill, it's much much faster than any passive recovery. Netwatch is way overrated, or maybe just because short circuit is OP, but it doesn't really excel in anything other than spamming short circuit. Yes there's a +30% damage, but it's additive to your already insane +200% from INT now you're looking at a pathetic x1.1 improvement assuming you didn't spend points in blood ware. It's actually more commonly used by savescumers who savescum access point to grant legendary quickhacks and refuses to invest a single point in INT, this 30% becomes super handy. From what I can tell the x2 distance trait from quickhack tree does not affect Netwatch's 6 meter spread and it's still not all reliable but who cares when you can just one shot people with short circuit and repeat indefinitely in the dark? To exploit short circuit to full potential it's only possible via the +100% damage to unaware target trait, so even with a dedicated INT build it's just not the deck for hot gun blazing, it can't really keep up, at least not in hardest difficulty.

Tetratronic would be the most broken deck for most people since you literary don’t even need to spend any point into intelligence! Just do whatever build you want to do, swap on the deck with suicide and system reset, you can just instantly take out 4 enemy before the fight even starts with quick hacks, with just 3 intelligence!
