I bought the Sony RDR VX500 DVD/VHS player/recorder at Goodwill was note that the VCR did not play tape would run just no video. The fan did not work fixed fan. I cleaned the VHS heads, tape guides, and the audio head too. Placed VHS of Star Wars (of course) tap ran great. This model will play both VHS and DVD output through the component out jacks. This model also has VCR Plus. Anyone remember that? This is a great player I do not even use the record feature. Came with the remote as well! Different model than is in the video.

For non combo units i've had the best luck with vcr's from the 1980's, they are really easy to repair and work on compared to newer vcr's

Remember this vhs is more greater on your health y you are getting up and walking to to get a tape and walking to your VCR player to put it in Yes it's not much you are still moving and that is y they are healthy for your health everything proven vhs tapes don't make you lazy like Disney plus does and computer does

Great video everything vhs tapes don't stop playing at all everything proven people keep there mode switch clean out like they should people will never have playing problem's at all with there VCR players
