You can a gun that has a theoretical time to kill that outshines everything else, but if it’s not designed great or has a lot of quirks to it, it’s not going to do well in practicality. Take the FR 5.56. On paper it should be a beast, but the recoil makes it abysmal. The M13 with proper attachments just does not move. Hit your headshots and it just gets better

The m4 is the most most versatile weapon hands down. But that’s exactly it’s problem. Is a 8/10 in long and short ranges. It’s good, but not the best in any of both departments. If i can carry two weapons, it’s better to go with a bruen/kilo/ grau that are 10/10 in long range and a mp5/mp7 that are a 10/10 in short ranges.

Eric Comstock recoil pattern. For me upwards toward the right is a lot easier to control than a gun who’s recoil pattern is up and to the left. I tend to only use guns who’s recoil counteracts the way I pull down on my right stick.

The PKM is incredible right now. Remember the pre-patch Bruen? PKM's damage and range values are better. Recoil is straight up and super easy to control (arguably easier to control over the Bruen). Sure the mobility and reload speeds are slow, so just run it with an SMG and be mindful of the reload time and you wont run into issues. I'm shredding with this thing right now. Mono Suppressor Heavy Barrel Snatch Grip VLK Scope Tac Laser (faster ADS time than the Bruen)

Stefano Bailey to put it short... no. This dude is crazy lol. People don’t use the m91 for the same reason not a lot of people run the PKM. LMGs just aren’t ideal for most play styles in warzone. The only reason the bruen was top tier and is still the most used gun... is because with the 60 round mag attachment the bruen doesn’t play like an LMG, it plays like an AR. The M91 and PKM are very good at winning mid range gunfights, but they’re horrendously slow and clunky. Only play style these guns excel in is if you’re one of those people who grab a heli and go get recons all game then camp in a building in final circle.... (don’t ever become one of these people 😂)

For the Kilo, the best setup for it and my favorite gun in the game is it with the -Whisper barrel for stealthiness -the 100 round beta mag for shear firepower - the merc foregrip for recoil control and the hidden 4% movement speed boost to count the 100 round mag - the tac laser to help offset the 100 round mag again - and the no stock attachment to bring the ads time to faster than the base kilo along with the tac laser and the movement speed back to the base speed

Let's not kid ourselves. The TOP 1 gun... is still the Bruen. The "nerf" they did is insignificant in almost all situations and the gun is exactly the same as before, except between certain ranges, where you may need 2 more bullets to kill someone.. but with a gun that shot like the Bruen.. You won't notice it. The Bruen is still the king. (or Queen)

@@anthonypeck8448 It's a sleeper, just like the RAM and like the FAL used to be. Try the PKM, it has really clean iron sights too so you can use sleight of hand if you want. Straight vertical recoil. Also has the snatch grip which is stupidly good

I love the mg34. Hands down still shreds and with a mono supp and merc foregrip has low recoil. Also use the sleight of hand,ffs stock, and finally ergo grip. The ads turns into an AR but has fastest ttk of autos. Plus the range is magnificent. I play trios or duos mostly so the bigger mags arent worth the penalty

IMO: I use the FR 5.56 taking advantage the damage buff it had. Landing all three shots at like medium range or close knocks all their armor off- just don’t hipfire. FR 5.56: Sniper barrel, Monolithic Suppressor, Merc Foregrip, VLK 3x scope, (i forgot name for stock) stability stock. The SA87 is my next gun with: Monolithic Suppresor, the longest barrel(I forgot the number), Merc Foregrip, Rubberized Grip, and the stock that gives you stability(I forgot its name). It’s shooting and recoil is very easy to control with the attachments.

It's not top-tier for players like ACE and people who *he* fight against. If you're just a normal players without any special skill m13 is so much better because everyone who you play against(in normal circumstances) have less than perfect aim, recoil control and reaction times. The Kilo is currently my favorite since it's an absolute lazer beam especially at 150+meters. The Amax initial shots kick too high so it makes it hard to hit enemies that are camping on a head glitch. It's doable if you add a Merc Foregrip w/ 3x Optic , but IMO the ADS is too slow with that. The Amax shreds targets in the open (but with the TTK being high in warzone any gun would do that to an enemy in the open) IMO - Kilo is the best weapon, like Ace said it's consistent and with recoil being easy to master in MW it's the best option.

The Amax has more horizontal recoil so I recommend just using the commando, the recoil control is good enough with the zodiac.

Haddon Donaghue I recommend: monolithic, commando, corvus or m16 (depends on mobility needs), 60rd, rubberized. The recoil is pretty easy to control, like OP said left and down slightly. Play with it often and it will become instinctual.

It caught a stealth nerf. Range was reduced but even then it’s still one of the top primaries. Bruen #1 and then M4 right after for me. M4 is better than the Kilo at most ranges except for medium range.

I think it’s because it’s the most balanced meta weapon now. The Bruen and Grau pre patch were absolutely insane so now that some of the best guns actually have real disadvantages to them, everything else might feel weak. But yeah I felt the same about the kilo but I stuck with it for a while and it’s just so good and rewarding to use.

The reason people stopped using the M4 is to be “cooler” by using the “other” gun or being unorthodox (yes some people have that weird mentality). Oddly, it’s now become the “other” gun so it might become “cool” to use it again for most people.

Actually, the reason a vast majority of my friends, including me who never used m4 was simply because we find other guns better looking or simply more fun to use. For example, I think both ram7 and grau are way more fun to use than the m4. Not everyone is THAT sweaty to the point where they try to go for the meta all the time and only switch from m4 to another gun to feel "cool". I feel like that's how you feel when you switch to another weapon hence why you think other people think that way as well. That's not really how things really pan out though.

I don’t need to submit to the popular sentiments regarding which gun to use, it’s whatever works best for me. Of course most people want to be “cool”, in fact ace even says that popular streamers largely influence the meta hence people using it and these things changing so frequently season to season. Give the AMR another go I had the same mentality but when i started focusing on my first shot head-shot the fact that its semi-auto allows me to finish off the person before they can get to cover for a revive and if i can follow up with a knock it makes for easy pushes in BR, usually paired with mp5/7 or fal/grau but i have been trying to branch out so may give the m4 another go or try the amax again.

I personally love using the PKM, especially after the Bruen nerf. It’s not as nimble as other weapons but it always surprises me whenever I liquify an opponent at longer ranges. It’s like a full auto DMR and I always have a SMG as my side strap.

You don't like the way the kilo handles because you're still rocking the Prowler barrel. With a mono suppressor, you're losing only 6m of range, in exchange for faster ADS, +3% movement speed, strafe speed, etc. Magnified by using the 50 round magazine as well. A kilo with a SOCOM and fifty round mags is insanely good. It literally mitigates the speed penalty and poor ADS times, leaving nothing but a quick running laser. Mine is 7% move speed faster than yours, and ADS 4 frames quicker. That's the difference between an AR and an LMG, or an AR and a pistol. It's a massive benefit for losing 6m of range and ten rounds. It's a no brainer. You really should give it a shot.

That. I switched from longest barrel with mono to the barrel with integrated suppressor and its still awesome on range but not as bulky. You also save an attachment slot and can use a merc foregrip to add movement speed. Thats what Ace does with its M13 but it works even better with the Kilo imo. I pair it with .357 akimbo snakeshots and it rocks.

19.8 is a lot slower but it does give you 15-20% more recoil control, which is like an additional Merc grip. So it is preference. This setup is best with a SMG overkill class. For ghost, I prefer SOCOM. The Whispers barrel is also not bad as it has 15% range modifier and give you tracer free bullets and a free suppressor. It is a good option for those who need an extra attachment like an Optic.

Very easy to see how insignificant that is, especially when you consider that's for purely the barrels with no other attachments. When you're running fully attached, if I showed you both spreads you wouldn't be able to tell which was which. Again, insignificantly less recoil in the lowest recoil gun in the game, versus 3% movement speed, slower ADS, slower sprint out, slower strafe speed.... Don't fall into the trap. Use the SOCOM. It's objectively the better choice. EDIT: I agree about the whisper being a fantastic choice as well. The prowler is literally the worst option. I'd almost prefer to leave it off, and use a lightweight suppressor and 200round mag and have an SMG with AR damage and LMG rounds. The prowler is quite literally the worst barrel choice for the gun.

my 2 cents... it really depends on what compliments your secondary. i think your bottom 3 (kilo, grau, bruen) are the long range kings but you need to pair w/ some sort close range (mp5, fal, origin12) because clearing buildings w/ them is rough/uncompetitive. your top two (amax and m4) are flexible. pretty decent in close, mid, and somewhat long range, which allows you to use a secondary like a sniper or rpg. so i kinda agree with the ranking but it really comes down to playstyles and what works with how You want to play.

The KILO has a bad initial bullet spread. Go look at recoil tests where the first 3 bullets are not that accurate. It's only got a great recoil control past that point and it's a bit funky still since it moves to the left diagonally.

M4A1 built for ADS with .458 socom mag, when first target is down, switch to secondary CR 56 AMAX with 45 round mag and exo stock. Melt the first thing you see, then spray whatever comes next. It works kinda ok for me. Mostly it's fun to melt with the .458s. Lol

Oden with archangel irons,810- barrel, colossus, Tac, op foregrip, sleight of hand. the gun does seem a little clunky at times but when my aim is good I piss people off in tight gun fights... you just have to make sure you are on their upper body and or head. Rolled with M13 for a long time then finally switched up to oden when everyone was using the grau. I get my ass handed to me a lot also but I'm also not the greatest player I really only get to put in a decent amount of time from Friday to sat... mon-thurs I lose half of my technique unfortunately but I still have fun

Tbh I think the m4 is a swiss army knife. It can be for both long range or short range. It can be a dedicated long range rifle. Or just a dedicated hip fire gun. I love using it just because its a jack of all trades. Also I do love the oden. Whenever I use it I just find it to break armor faster but it is slow which can be a turn off for anyone who wants higher kill rate. And I still thank you for teaching me about the hdr set since I still rock that 26.9 barrel. Idk if its still hitscan but its still reliable.

I use commando on all of my 5.56 AR's. Vertical recoil on those guns is already easy to control, so by using commando forgrip, u get an even more straight upwards recoil pattern.

Merc helps with how much your gun goes up and the commando stops it's side to side bounce. Side to side bounce isn't really an issue in multiplayer ranges that a lot of the guides are for plus the hip fire bonus and the speed bonus it's an easy win. But for long range you want no recoil or predictable recoil, straight up and not side to side so you choose the commando

My barrel has recoil control as well, and I compensate for movement speed with my stock. I've been enjoying the CR-56 quite a bit. I kit it as a DMR and put it in my warzone/ground war class' secondary slot with the MG-34 as my primary. Haven't been able to test it fully, but I'm pretty sure that a headshot using the Soviet M67 rounds will knock out a set of full armor plates up to around 110-120 meters or so, but I could be wrong. Also, the MG-34 absolutely melts through armor.

I honestly love the fennec and ram, not together but the ram is a great backup to a sniper and the fennec is just so much fun to use in those close range fights where you’re just melting your opponent’s faces off
