Even the 3rb fire mode with the long barrel could cross-map dudes. One of the most fun games I had in MW2s lifecycle was a game of headquarters on Lighthouse (I know), running the Shroud with the long barrel. I had multiple 50+ meter longshots and ended up with 64 kills and a 4.2 KD, and we won the game by 5 pts. Loved that gun so much in that game

The ISO-9 can really cook and catch people off guard. It’s an easy to control gun, with a very high fire rate like the WSP-Swarm, it’s a fun counter.

The 9mm is the only usable ISO in my opinion. The .45's recoil pattern gets so inconsistent that it's almost not worth the extra damage. Could be useful in tac stance but there's other .45 SMGs like the Fennec that mop the floor with tac stance and hipfire.

The Fennec 45 in a tac stance/hipfire build can be very fun for small maps and as backup to your sniper builds. However, it's another one of those guns that could direly use a buff the mag holster perk. You dont hold enough ammo with the default magazine and the drum magazine slows your reload quite a bit.

Love using the Vel-46, it absolutely fries. Would recommend using the 50 round drum since it doesn’t harm your handling at all, just your reload speed - unlike most other high round magazines in the game.

There’s no wonder IW refuses to use advanced stats. Some of the MWII attachments are laughably bad. Ace already broke it down last year, but seeing a 45% ADS hit for +3% recoil control is horrendous.

True, one of the stocks of Lachmann Sub gives you +1% recoil control but will cripple your mobility so bad -9% ADS movement speed! Bruh! There's much worst than that from some guns but I forgot. Seriously Sledgehammer need to look at the attachments of MWII guns because it really held back the potential of these.

Just tried that shroud build for a few rounds and wow it is a blast in semi-auto. Even outside the effective range, it’s so accurate it’s still competitive, and I was able to pick snipers off of head glitches at ~40m. I swapped the optic for the glassless, that was my only change. Nice gun to switch things up.

I love the BAS-P kitted out for ADS move speed with a shadowstrike and paired with Ninja + Stalker boots. It absolutely fries. Amazing and versatile strafe SMG.

I tried it one time and it's definitely underrated. It's not OP or disgusting, but it's a surprisingly decent SMG. It's definitely a way to anger WSP Swarm Mains.

@randomguy2402 JAK BFB Muzzle, It's only Barrel lmao, folded Stock for movement, Demo Grip, and last choice is the Mag Grip or your choice of ADS Laser. Mag grip helps with stability though

Yeah, they think they're unusable for some reason. Yeah, some are the utter worst weapons in the game (Like the Crossbow and the Carrack .300), but there's definitely some that are underrated.

The Fennec/Vector is still one of my faces. It still me!ts, especially in Warzone. I will very rarely lose a close up engagement in WZ using it, even in situations when I'm low on armor and/or am not the one to shoot first. I love it.

bas-p no stock with the zen flash hider and a bunch of other recoil reduction + a sight is a solid build with good movement speed for map coverage and managable recoil. I kinda hope they buff the lachmann sub a little more for warzone.

I've actually done pretty well with the MX9 using the BFB muzzle. I've found it pretty easy to hit multiple headshots. Minibak is okay but only inside it's maximum damage range. I stacked all range increasing attachments on it so it can be just a bit more forgiving. Movement is pretty good on it and you never really have to worry about reloading. You just can't stretch the damage. In most cases, you might be better off with a shotgun. Lachman Shroud is only held back by it's slow bullet velocity.

The 9mm Daemon seems all right to use. Flashy inspect, slightly faster sprint speed, no recoil, but max fire rate is 545rpm (which is still fair), less damage on lower limbs, and slower weapon swap speed from pistol to primary

In theory, Deagle should be good. Still a 2-tap in MW3, but the overall longer ttk of the game should make it feel more competitive. Just don't miss shots.

the MX9 seems purpose built for stealth. the standard velocity is 300 m/s and you have a 25 round mag but I never found either of those to be too detrimental since the recoil is so easy to control. the suppressed MX9 is currently my favorite MWII gun to use

Hey ace just wondering if you ever play search I’ve been trying to play search but man my kd is too high cause I’ve been playing on small playlist getting streaks made my kd over a 2.0 and now when I play search it’s just so competitive very annoying and it’s sweaty on small playlist too but idk ima solo player too so search is much sweaty feels like I’m in ranked every match just wondering if you run into the same problem where search is just too much for you as well?

My MP5: FTAC Castle muzzle, TCG-10 Grip, 40 magazine, Bruen Bastion Angle grip, and Cronen Minidot Pro sight(optional) Its good at hip fire up close, handle medium range fights well, it works if you like Tac Stance or set it up to 3 round burst to save ammo and help with longer range fights👍💯

Several of these look pretty good statistically. I've been finishing my smg mastery charms with the WSP-9, and it feels pretty terrible compared to the other smgs. I'd gladly take many of these MW2 smgs over it.

ive been using the mp7 a ton as it was my most used gun overall in mw22. knew it was still good from launch. been recently messing with the p90 and its now apart of my classes. imma mess with that lachman shroud tho cause i knew about how strong it was in semi in mw22 but a 3 shot kill in this game for a smg is insane

So I noticed you've put the L4R Flash Hider on all of the non suppressed SMGs, and was wondering what your opinion on the ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider is. I like the FAS, and the shorter radar ping is a nice plus, even if you have less horizontal recoil. The downsides are very minimal too with a 5% Bullet Velocity and an 11ms ADS penalty

The ZEHMN is solid but MWII guns really tend to need a lot of help with gun kick control so that’s why I tend to prefer the L4R

The pdsw for me is by FAR the best smg, it's so fast, so accurate, Its just insane. Stats be damned! And I like my build better. I use the barel with the built in sioencer and it's unique attachment.

7:18 great, now I suspect there might be some ppl trying to use that full-auto macro for the Shroud now. I swear when you bring these things up ppl are gonna start abusing it until it possibly gets nerfed. I do see it has a fire cap, but so does the Cor-45, and I once seen a guy shooting it like its an A10 warthog cannon. Ironically, I actually really did like using the Shroud in 3RB when I was unlocking the Lachmann guns to get Red and Blue Tiger for nostalgia (before I decided to start grinding every camo) I liked it to the point where I have a designated class for it. But I never tried Semi-Auto. I always had the impression that semi-auto for full-auto guns just seemed like a waste cuz most have the same damage in both modes. Good to know. Now I need to watch out for Shroud users now.

I will say this again but a lot of MW2 weapons are either viable or straight trash. Now some of the viables weapons such as the AR's and SMG's can contend with their MW3 counterparts but are severely held back by the cons certain attachments give, pitiful damage ranges or bad recoil/handling. Barrels, Stocks and Rear Grips can really hurt any MW2 weapon depending on the build. Your best friend is quite literally the muzzle and grip attachment, that makes or breaks MW2 builds. The weapons Ace included in his AR video are the best and can be very competitive but the same can't be said for the SMG's. Unlike AR's which tend to have decent range and handling (for MW2 weapons post-season 2 patch), the SMG's have all the baggage that held them back in MW2 alongside adjusted damages ranges and damage stats. If it isn't clear, most MW2 SMG's and a few AR's are pitifully underpowered outside 10-20 meters against most MW3 AR's and SMG's. While I have fun using the Giest or MP7, you'll never catch me using them outside small maps since their ranges don't compensate for bad handling, visual recoil or hurtful attachment cons. At best their viable if you want some variety or a gimp in your gameplay. I want them to address MW2 attachments and ranges in buffs across the board for a lot of MW2 guns. Shotguns and SMG's specifically as the Lockwood 680 is busted compared to any other shotgun besides the Haymaker (with or without Jak Maglift) and the SMG's quickly become useless at range after their 1st damage drop off.

You can't on MWII SMGs but for other guns, I don't like hurting my recoil and the velocity benefits on most guns when using them within their effective ranges for 6v6 is generally negligible. If I played Ground War or Warzone, I'd likely consider using them more often

It's a solid alternative and I'd recommend it if that's what works best for you but I like the handling benefits of the Skeletal and most of the "horizontal" recoil you see on the Vel is actually gun kick, not horizontal recoil.
