I don’t watch The PBA Tour anymore but Pete will always be my favorite bowler. Grew up watching him in the 80s, and although my shot and game was patterned after WRW, I was disappointed when Pete wasn’t on TV. One of the greatest bowlers ever and so much fun to watch

I thought Pete was on his 3rd wife (he's been with Tracy since '95 or '96 if I'm correct).

Married Tracy in ‘97. At the Pete Weber Open this year they introduced him with his wife Renee which was the first I’ve ever heard of that.

Mika would be an interesting subject for this series. He’s won majors, shot 300-840 on tv in a blizzard, won a match by 199 pins, and had the famous missed ten pin at the US Open.

2004 Medford Open was another good one. Squeaks by Waliczek in his first match before making a huge adjustment and going strike for strike with Delutz in the final. It was a thrill to watch.

Pete genuinely felt bad for Waliczek when he wrapped the headpin around the 10.

Pete's best moment on TV was his interview just hours after retirement where he appears to be possibly a little inebriated and was recounting his best moments in his career and starts talking about his fifth US Open win and jumps into "Who do you think you are? I am! And that's f**king right! I am!....Sorry. I just had to say that."

One of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen Pete do was be the top seed at the Masters in the middle of an 8 month suspension (because the Masters is not a PBA event). He lost by 1 pin and never won the Masters in his career.
@Jason_Maier9 ай бұрын
I remember he was suspended for most of the 2000 season for "conduct unbecoming a professional" after an incident at the 1999 Bay City Classic pro-am where he was drunk and verbally abusive. I don't recall the suspension you are referring to.
@enigmazero86249 ай бұрын
@@Jason_Maier that’s exactly the one. He missed most of the 2000 season but was allowed to bowl the Masters while under suspension because it was an ABC event not a PBA event. Top seed and lost to Mika by 1 pin - the birth of “Major Mika”.

Top hometown victories. Bowlers winning a tournament in their hometown/home state. Danny Wiseman (from Baltimore) won the 1990 Fair Lanes Open in Woodlawn, MD. Bob Learn Jr. won the 1996 Flagship Open in Erie, PA. Parker Bohn III won the Johnny Petraglia Open in New Jersey

The Right Lane, Pete Weber is one of the best Bowlers on the Pba Tour. Also, One of Pete Weber's best moments was the 2001-2002 Season on the Pba Tour especially the Louisville Open where he had a close title Match against Michael Haugen Jr. Also, I like the matches that Pete Weber had against Del Ballard Jr especially in the Title Match of the 1991 Fair Lanes Open. Also, Are you going to do another Top 5 Best Moments on Walter Ray Williams Jr? Also, Thank you for uploading the Top 5 Best Moments of Pete Weber's Career wins on the Pba Tour.
