​@@PJJNS2023I have the Korean LG V50(with dual screen) I don't get 5G but, still LTE surprisingly. If it's just for media (which my LG V50 is now) then probably not. However, the LG V60 was supported for a longer time. I have one with Android 13. No issues overall. Easier to find a dual screen as well. As far as audio, the LG V50 has a more bass forward sound to my ears(a bit more energetic but, not overly warm(lively). The LG V60 has better separation and soundstage so it sounds more detailed. The only thing the V50 has over the V60 is the screen.

Every single argument for removing the headphone jack is from tech illiterate mass market normies that fell for the propaganda from big companies. It hurts literally no one to have a headphone jack on your smartphone. Bluetooth audio will never be better than wired audio and I know this for a fact. With bluetooth, on my laptop, I have to have the volume to around 30 to 40. With a wired connection the highest I need the volume is maybe 12. And less than that probably if I have the ANC turned on. I can clearly tell the distinction between wired and wireless audio. And I don't need people who can't tell the difference lecturing me on why the headphone jack is "outdated."

Bluetooth can go jump off a cliff and die... it's a bad standard.... sound quality is meh, proper frequency usage is meh, delay is higher, compressed lossy bluetooth audio standard, and batteries for another device... It's unfortunate that this list only consists of phones from years ago despite the title saying late 2023 . Unfortunately , greedy manufacturers are not listening and insist on removing headphone jacks from even cheaper phones . And now and in the future , the only phones with headphone jacks are super crappy cheapos with processors slower than a glued snail and music players that cannot make phone calls .

My S10 finally bit the dust this week after 5 years of faithful service, and I had cash in my pocket and was ready to upgrade to something state of the art. Didn't think I was asking the impossible in a flagship phone - premium camera for stills and video, headphone socket and SD slot. After a lot of research, I've come to the conclusion that there is NOTHING on the market in 2024 that will do the job. The Sony Xperia 1V comes close, but the camera apparently has issues with limited dynamic range, and the optics of the telephoto are a bit on the fuzzy side. It's capable of taking great photos if you don't mind going manual and fiddling with the settings, but the full auto mode leaves a lot to be desired from what I've heard. For £1200 I don't expect to have to compromise, so I thought sod it, and spent £139 on another secondhand S10 instead.

Yeah, the Sony phones can be ridiculously expensive. $1400 new for the 1 V, which is a $200 price drop from the 1 IV. From reviews I've seen, the Xperia 1 V has fixed the heat issues that plagued previous Xperia phones. What's really cool about the newer Xperia phones is variable optical zoom. The lens physically moves from 3.5 to 5.2 times zoom.

I am starting to wonder If I am missing out on something by not switching to wireless. I tried wireless earbuds before and they begin to make noise if there is interference. Their batteries die very quickly and you have to carry a huge case for them. Even if the day comes when no phone supports an headphone jack I think I will get an mp4 player like the good old days and still use wired headphones.

V60 is quite heavy densed or bulky ..and not pocket friendly... But a beast of a phone even for how old it is now ...i got the LG G8x dual sim variant from aliexpress... I wish LG will get back in the game. Its hard to explain until u use one ... I am music lover so i might be biased ..the quad dac is awesome

Personally, I stand for maximum functionality and customization of the product. Customers should have a choice. Ok, I understand the point of Bluetooth headphones. But this is especially important when some kind of dynamics occurs (you are walking, road trip, doing sports and other activities). But for example, I love wired headphones when I’m in a calm and safe place and the wires don’t bother me. Wired headphones don't need Bluetooth, don't need to be charged, and sound better. Maybe I'm too old for this. What the heck? Why am I limited in my ability to consume content the way I want? But they make IP68 for intellectuals who will wash their smartphones in the shower. Seriously, the industry is being held hostage by crazy people and everyone is pandering to them.

It is absolutely insane there are no 5G foldable phones with a 3.5mm jack. Not a single one according to GSMArena. But there are countless with regular bar form factor. There are ways to use wired headphones with bluetooth adapter though but it is a hassle.

So I just returned the Xperia 1V. They took care of the notorious heating issue. 4k display? Sure, but for some reason, the screen seemed washed out compared to my s23+. Every time you turn on the cam, you can hear something switching on, probably the lense system. Selfie cam is trash, video from it, trash. The sound from the video is low tone trash. This is coming from a guy who has Sony TV, PlayStation systems and headphones. So yeah, I was severely disappointed. Back cameras are great though.

Wish Sony would make another flagship phone without quite as much focus on photography etc. now with so few phones out there with certain features that Sony have kept all this time I think they'd do well. They had a try at doing what everyone else was doing with the xz range but that flopped, but they went too far. They should have kept their squarish, 'professional' sort of appearance, the headphones jack, SD support, the premium feel and the speakers etc but just drop the unnecessary pro camera bits on at least one model so they can do it a little cheaper and they'd have the perfect phone for me. Add a stylus and they'd have me throwing my cash at them. So many designers etc that would probably love that 'professional' sony style but only want to take quick snaps. Basically Sony, just give me a new xperia Z5 premium, pleeeeeaaaazzzzz!!! was easily my fave phone ever.
