Wow. Itacate has tacos de lengua? I went to some street taco places in West Coast US. and the best tacos I had were the Lengua and the Tripas. I've been looking for any where around Toronto that served it. Also did any of the places served the Al Pastor using the vertical spit?

You know your offal meats! The lengua was fantastic! Hope you get to try it. I’m pretty sure Los Campos does their al pastor on a vertical spit. Not sure about the others.

Do you know if any of these are halal? Been looking for good Mexican halal food.

as of the time filming the video, I believe that Comal y Canela's chicken and beef are halal and that Los Compas has halal options too. Can't recall if I saw a halal certification posted at the other locations and couldn't find anything on their websites. Best to contact each directly to find out for sure.

Yo why are tacos so expensive in Toronto, in the southern states or even Mexico a taco is like a buck flat. Some of these are like $8 CAD !!

Overall cost of ingredients are up so. Same for property. I think when it comes to these spots, the quality of the tacos is really, really high so when you combine all that, it is what it is. If you can get a quality taco for $1 then just thank your lucky stars.

We're super lucky to have lots of great spots here in Toronto - I've haven't tried Los Gyros yet but you're not the first to mention them to me as a great spot. Wish I could do a top10 video but I don't think I could do all that in one week. Maybe we'll do a standalone video just for Los Gyros. We'll see! Thanks for the recommendation!
