The pizza really was fantastic! I did feel like the arancini could have had a bit more tomato sauce flavour but it was still crispy and all around a solid starter. Let me know if you ever get around to trying this spot!

Arancini was alright, I’m with you, thought the 2nd one was better. The pizza is clearly the star at this spot. Hope you’re able to find a spot that does a good arancini in your neck of the woods, thanks for watching!

only thing that sucks about toronto is there is not many places that do lamb shawarma like how they do it in turkey, nor is there really any good places that do doner kebab style meat which is my favorite

really? I kinda feel like there are some lamb shawarma options that are pretty good here in Toronto. No doubt, Türkiye has it really good too but I haven't been so I can't say from personal experience. Want to go there someday though.

Hey, right when I saw this video, I knew Church's Chicken would win! Nowadays KFC is always at the bottom of the list for fried chicken! I grew up eating KFC and just the aroma was heaven, but not anymore! KFC always had that great flavour of the 11 herbs and spices, but it's not as robust like it used to be from 20 to 30 years ago. KFC was the best fried chicken back than and was always at the top of the list. They just changed the recipe too much and they should go back to what it used to be! Now, Popeye's is tops for me and Mary Brown's, even Jollibee's is pretty good!

Ok so I'm not the only one that thinks it is not what it used to be. I agree, it doesn't taste bad but it's not the same as when I was a teenager and it has absolutely not kept up with it's competitors.

I always felt KFC had the best flavour recipe. What kills it is the way they cook the chicken. If a better fried chicken cook got their hands on that same recipe. I think that'd be the winner. I can imagine the Colonel cooking by the side of the highway the old way, way back when probably had killer good chicken!

Yeah, the flavour in isolation is good but the chicken is sometimes dry or sinewy and the skin is the least crispy

I grew up on KFC too but I would tend to agree with Popeyes or Mary Browns based on the other two videos I did featuring them. I’m really liking Chick Queen right now though, they just don’t have a lot of locations

I prefer Gushi's chicken. Karage satisfies that craving for crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside that Western fried chicken can't satisfy.

I discovered Ill Styles during TIFF and let me tell you that ILL STYLES is the best sub shop in the city. I always visit it during tiff. I used to be a vegetarian and would get their veggie sandwich, the VEGGIE JAWN.. I have food dreams of it. It was sooo good. I will definitely get the steak sandwich.

sorry, I should have put some text or something in the original video and not assumed everyone would know about beef bacon - my bad again. My general experience is that beef bacon is a little less crispy but the flavour is good and different enough from the beef patty as to make for a good combination. I'd love see a spot use turkey bacon and see how that compliments everything in a burger.

Clark, I’m a little late to this video, but as I only discovered your channel this week. You were eating my second favourite cuisine of all time. I haven’t had shrimp toast in years. I used to make shrimp toast myself when I was in my 20s. Great video as always.

@ Clark, my favourite food is Thai food. There are a lot of reviews out there for PAI northern kitchen, so I would prefer something different. Perhaps a Thai restaurant that’s closer to where I live in Bolton because there is no possibility of me getting down to downtown Toronto. Thank you, Janice.

Clark, really enjoyed this video yet again. I grew up in Don Mills and would frequent the Scarborough area to shop and eat. Really wish I still lived there so I could try the salt enough Moses in Bondi Metro. Keep up the good work looking forward to more videos.

Hey guys Clark here, gotta post an apology here to Burgers on Fleek - In the video I mentioned they have a bunch of things on the menu including pulled pork - I obviously misspoke, a mistake on my part and I take full responsibility. To be clear, this spot is PORK FREE and a fully hand slaughter halal restaurant. My sincere apologies if this has upset or been misleading too anyone who has watched the video and of course to Burgers On Fleek.

why not re-record that bit where you talk about the pulled pork. you highlighted at the begining it's halal restaurant. this is not about religious anger or anything, but out of respect to the restaurant you should probably pull that clip. In some cultures pork is haram and you may be doing a disservice to the restaurant especially when you are contradicting yourself where on the one hand you're saying it's halal and then incorrectly suggesting that they have pulled pork. not throwing shade - but you really should do your homework of the places where you eat - especially as a small channel that wants to be taken seriously. respect goes both ways.

@ absolutely agree. It was my mistake and take responsibility for it. At this point, enough people have probably already seen the video. I chatted with the owner and he was very understanding and gracious about the whole thing. Decided instead of deleting it, I’m going to so a follow-up video clarifying the mistake and trying the pulled beef sandwich which is what I meant to say. Thanks for your input, well said - “respect goes both ways”

California Sandwiches is very, very good. At least the couple of locations that I’ve been to. They are a chain though are they not? That’s fair, mileage will vary but for many who grew up on it, it’s very nostalgic. For me, a good one is genuinely a treat, something simple but satisfying. That said, a mid one is just that. Mid. So I get where you’re coming from despite, of course, disagreeing in principle
