I like garnacho but the whole situation with him just reminds me of Adnan Januzaj. Came into the United team when they were doing so so badly, shows a bit of grit and determination and scores a couple good goals but in the end he leaves United after flopping the following season and is barely heard of again. Garnacho is probably the most interesting player to talk about, and probably the one that reveals the most about how a fan evaluates a player. I don't have any grandiose opinions on him. For his wage and age he is doing a fine job, way over the expectation. Where he ends up, I don't know. One thing that is absolutely true about Garnacho that all of you can't even argue against is his mentality is elite already at the age of 19. He will run for 120 minutes vs big teams in big games and thrives under pressure. This is just enough to get you through the door. People disrespect what that means in the modern day, the ability to fight for the badge. I would argue every single team needs a player like this in their team. Obviously, have to be good enough of course. But to simply just predict he will end up failing and ending up at valencia is about as reductive as predicting he will be a "ronaldo" type player. It'll probably be somewhere in between, if we are being honest. His development soley rests on him, he has a lot of work to do, but he CAN do it. The question is, will he?
