I would add... Since TP Link knows Epona's song by default - a song confirmed to be invented by Malon's mom - that all but confirms Malon being related to TP Link. He even owns Epona, likely bred and descended from the same exact line as OOT Link's. As for the Gerudo being Twili, I think the Twili are made up of various races evolved into one, but they absolutely have Gerudo in their past as Zant has the Gerudo symbol on his clothes. Once you see Veran from OoA, I don't see how you can't connect her to the Twili as well, just in a different Timeline, the Downfall Timeline.

I like the theory that the twili are the decedents of the tribe that created Majora’s Mask, and that tribe is the Sheikah. The style of both is remarkably similar, since they both have the Sheikah eye on them, various spikes, and the whole idea of shadow/black magic. The Hyrulean Royal Family has had multiple issues with the Sheikah throughout the timeline, so banishing them to the twilight realm after an attempt to take the Triforce seems legitimate. It’s not that the Sheikah were bad, I mean, everyone, friends and family even, turned against each other to try and get the Triforce...

I like the idea of the twili been a mix a varius cultures, this can be seen during link's confrontation with Zant, the Gerudo symbol is at the top of the Twilight Throne and in Zant's robes, the story refers to them as the interloopers, the interloopers could have been a mix off renagaded Sheikah and Gerudos, this would confirmed the creation of the Majora's Mask due is similar to the fused shadow and the fused shadow literaly has a Sheikah symbol, and that the arbirter grounds (the entrance to the twilight realm) are in fact on the Gerudo Desert

That's one of my LEAST favorite theories. It only makes sense if you don't have an eye for detail and thus don't notice that literally EVERY other detail in Twili artifact design philosophy doesn't really match Majora's Mask. The only real piece of supporting evidence is the eye on the Fused Shadows KINDA looking like the eye on the Mask, but not really, yet everything else points away from it.

The Triforce is basically the Ring from LOTR. And I definitely want expanded lore on the Twili since they contain iconography from the Sky People, Hyrule Royal Family, Shiekah, and Gerudo. Implying the Tribe of interlopers were a bunch of Bad Seeds from a bunch of Hyrule's races coming together to pool their dark magic knowledge in an attempt to claim the Triforce for themselves. Then all of them were banished to the Twilight Realm. Ages passed, and the Twilight Sun slowly converted and evolved all as the also interbred to become the Twili Race.

It seems like the current Link just wanted to be with his fish lady, but even he is going to likely end up with Zelda. Skyward Sword Link and Zelda were probably the original king and queen of hyrule. Zelink shippers have enough games for them. I want to see him romance Midna or something. Midna is the best

My least favorite Zelda Theory is the "Literal Legend" theory. Y'all know the one, "there is no timeline or anything like that because it's just an old legend being retold over and over again, causing the details to change". I am glad it's officially not canon, because it just... Devalues everything, makes it all so pointless. It just leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Second worst is probably the "Link is Dead/5 Stages of Grief" theory for Majora's Mask. There's just... No evidence to support it, at all, and I don't even see how anyone could arrive at it.

I just came up with a theory that Twilight Princess Link is the Gerudo male born after 100 years. Malon's father married a Gerudo making Malon a Gerudo. Link from OOT marries her and now the Gerudo hold both Triforce of Power and Courage

I love the inevitable botw timeline placement theory meaning that it does take place at the end of all three timelines but there was no merging because it is so far into the future that one third of stories are true and the rest are made up but which ones are true is irrelevant

One of my favorite theories (though not my absolute favorite) is that the Temple of Time dungeon in TP is the Temple of Light Link would have gone to if it hadn't been cut from OoT. For one thing, the Medallion of Light symbol is EVERYWHERE in there. Also, you enter it through the actual Temple of Time, which is how you'd have gotten there in OoT.

Editing too, Daniel. :) As for the Koume and Kotake names, this is just my "pronounciation theory", but since the names are the same even in Japanese (just with the Japanese letters, you know), I'd assume the pronounciation Google Transalate will tell you is probably right. I like the dragon break theory the most. It doesn't need any of the bogus "there is salt in the game" type arguments to work. Like Daniel, it is simple and beautiful.

I think the best theory is that Link from Hyrule Warriors is the "Hero of Multiverse"! That Theory says that when Cia confused the time in the game she connected all three timelines so that Breath of the Wild can happen! For this theory Hyrule Warriors has to be in the timeline, but Nintendo is changing the timeline so often that it could be possible!

My personal favorite Zelda theory is the idea that the Sheikah created Majora's Mask in order to contain and potentially use Ghirahim's power. the video posits that Majora's Mask didn't come from Termina but Hyrule instead. That makes the Happy Mask Salesman from Majora's Mask the same one from Ocarina of Time. This does add up, as the cutscene where Skull Kid stole the mask takes place in the same game space that we pass through at the start of the game.

I don't understand what's so hard to grasp about BotW being in all timelines. I think of it like this: If a timeline can split, it can fuse back together. BotW shows events that happen regardless of what timeline we follow. Because they fuse back together at some point.

The only way I can see Demise being connected to Lorule is if he's the Zelda Multiverse's closest thing to an equivalent to Unicron. I.E. a multiversal singularity. Considering that Yuga is basically Lorule's version of Ganon while Demise is responsible for Ganon.

This video is the first time i ever heard telma being referred to as a sheika. Pretty much everything i ever come across, and her complexion implies she's a gerudo. The only thing connecting that being she had pointy ears. I may be having a case of Mandela effect but i remember In breathe of the wild a gerudo saying that the gerudo have such strong genes that when they have children they are born fully gerudo and female despite marrying Male hylians. So maybe just having a Male gerudo being born is rare, perhaps a pointed ears gerudo is also rare. Or maybe telma is the product of a gerudo/sheika relationship explaining her traits from both races.

I do think it's silly that several people I've seen are discounting the idea that she could be Gerudo *and* Sheikah- I don't think there's any reason to believe that any of the more human races can't have kids together- at most I can imagine the fantasy logic of keeping them distinct via magic genetics that choose one parent only to base their racial traits on (which I believe is what they do in the Elder Scrolls) as an explanation for why they remain distinct

I could see Fanadi being a Sheikah (for obvious reasons) but not Telma or Agitha. I've heard a theory of Telma being of Gerudo heritage, partly due to her red hair and a symbol similar to the revised Gerudo crest appearing on her clothing. While I don't rule out that Link could have married Malon, I also don't endorse it. Epona's Song is often used as evidence for their marriage, yet Link does not need to marry her for the song to be passed down since he already knew it himself from his adventure. If he instead married Zelda, there is always the possibility that some of his descendants chose not to remain in royal circles or were at least distanced from them. All the houses in Ordon Village have a banner in front. These are framed with what appear to be goat horns and are placed on a sort of staff with the one exception being Link's as his hangs from the roof above his door. What is on Link's? The Triforce, which is the symbol of the Royal Family of Hyrule.

It doesn't make sense there is no way that Zelda and Link from TP are relatives. Malon makes the most sense since Epona exist as a relative of the OOT Epona, most likely bred at Lon Lon ranch not with a Royal Horse which are often white. The Triforce is also regarded as a religious symbol of the 3 goddesses, not too surprising since you see it everywhere. Ordon also have business relations with Hyrule Castle which Link was sent there to deliver a Sword.

The way I see the Dragon Break (made by the one and only Burgerson) it goes with the Theory of Everything on some extent, but even so there is a fundamental limit in accuracy because the game doesn't make clear how everything became together and become to be; maybe hipotethically speaking if we had the Koroks on BOTW1 maybe on BOTW2 we could have references to the Lokomo.

I recently started a new playthrough of twilight princess with my father and after getting the Zora prince to Kakariko I realized that Telma probably was actually a secret Gerudo hiding out after the war having put her differences and dislike of the royal family aside to help protect and liberate the kingdom that became her new home after the loss of her homeland and her people since she was either the founder or a co founder of the underground resistance movement against Zants twili occupation but I also did like the thought of her being a Sheika

I personally believe that Zelda botw takes place in the fallen timeline because of the geographical evidence, and the convergence happened because the sheikha traveled through time (we can see that they could do it in skyward sword + the theory that they moved the kokiri forest with the great plateau ), this explains the reference too all the timelines like the names and even the dlc armors that shouldn't be here

I completely disagree 100% with the theory of Link marrying Malon in OoT. He most likely marries Zelda. My points? Well to start off Talon jokingly asked Link who's a child at the time if he wants to marry her. His comment shouldn't be taken literally cocindering it sorta happened to Princess Ruto who is engaged with Link when the two don't even know each other. Those two relationships are completely being joked around and about. Link and Zelda have a very close relationship in OoT Looking a the armor the Hero's shade wears in TP. It's clear he (meaning the Hero of Time) was in the Hyrulean Royal army. Given Zelda knowing of Link's swordsmanship in the game, she would not ignore his skills, so there's no doubt he ranked in her army as a sufficient part. It's very likely the two grow close during that time and marry. It is also confirmed OoT regretted on passing down his skills to his son, so obviously their children must have been all girls. Given the length of time between OoT and TP (a span of a century or more), TP Link couldn't be that close of a relative to OoT Link. Either his grandson or great grandson or frankly further out than that. As such, it is entirely possible at that point a descendant family to move back to the country if a daughter or granddaughter of the Hero of Time marries someone with ties to the country such as a farmer or knight stationed their. It is also likely that one of TP Link's ancestors became an orphan through the death of his or her parents and adopted into a farming family. To stay consistent with the story and more likeable, OoT Link marries Zelda in the end.

I’d say the Arbiters Grounds and Spirit Temple are separate places. The Twili would have been imprisoned before being sent to the Twilight Realm, where else would they be held but Arbiters Grounds? Therefore this prison would precede the timeline split.

I like the theory that the hero from Wind Waker actually is a descendant of a hero. Of course, in his timeline the Hero of Time left taking his lineage and the “spirit of the hero” with him, but there is another hero that comes before Wind Waker and looks exactly like that Link. The hero from Minish Cap and Four Swords. Even the shield that Zelda gives him at the beginning of Minish Cap is exactly like the one Link’s grandma gives you in Wind Waker. The Adult Timeline no longer had a hero chosen by the gods, so a heroic lineage that never had anything to do with the gods or master sword stepped up, fished the Triforce of Courage out of the ocean, and stabbed evil through the head! All while everyone else kept hoping for the Hero of Time’s return and were disappointed. Just goes to show ya, anyone can be a hero if their loved ones are in danger.

This is my take on the theoretical physics of a "Dragon Break" in Zelda. I feel as though the Goddesses are in a different realm, where time doesn't have the same effect as it does in Hyrule. They are beings outside of the timeline, and they see this world they created splitting into 3 completely different paths, and want to put it right. After tens of thousands of year of manipulating and tinkering, the Goddesses were able to set up the 3 timelines to once again be in sync with one another, effectively making the timelines merge again. in terms of the lore, BotW takes place so long after any other game, that it really doesn't matter what game came directly before it. This is the shortest way I can explain my theory about the timeline "merge", and i hope maybe it can help someone nit-picky be ok with a timeline merger.

am probably wrong on this but I don’t believe Link is not the true hero in BOW or fully unlocked hero I should say. The prophecy told in BOW was that the calamity would rise and the power to stop it was hidden underground. Does it specifically state the four giant machines was said power? I think they couldn’t/didn’t go deep enough. Midna in Twilight Princess stated their savior was the Divine Beast; the hero; Link. I believe the actually Divine Beast was the lost hero from the tapestry or at least his soul/power. If you zoom in on the tapestry and look at the hero’s hands. He has the same gold bracers as the hand holding Ganondorf in the trailer.

Aren't Stal enemies people that are lost in the Lost Woods? Are Stal enemies able to be created otherwise? I don't think that people that died in the Arbiter's Grounds would turn into Stalfos. Poes and Redeads, maybe, but not Stalfos. Unless Ganondorf and/or Zant used their power to resurrect the skeletons of the prisoners as Stalfos, I don't see how Stalfos could realistically be there.

Jesse, I’m sorry, you will definitely hate me after this, I don’t think that king daphnes nohansen hyrule was the boat you owned, I think that the king had evil intentions and that he tried to kill link multiple times, (mostly in the temple of time) likely some other being was the boat or link was just on mega drugs like every other game, but back to the theory, I think that mr hyrule did not have intentions to kill mr dorf since he did not give any attempt to kill him in the battle while he was there, I believe he intended to kill link and Zelda in the final battle more than he did for ganondorf, then he died with him (some dumb reason) and then in the ending scene after he dies, link still has his boat further proving that daphnes is not links boat

Just one look at Breath of the wild 2's trailer and you can clearly see that Breath of the wild takes place after Twilight Princess. And Breath of the wild being at the end of every timeline is simply a place holder
