OMG I KNOW!!! At least pretend to give a shit, in it!!! am i missing some thing here?? the last story sounded an awful lot like another story i think he has told? but told differently?? and i'm sure that the boat was pirated by four murderous escaped criminals from prison? they had pretended to be swept to sea and needed help. after they were on board. they murdered the true occupants and started to head across the ocean and escape capture. and they must have been the ones that the other boat were talking too. and they didn't want help obviously. but when they made contact with the families. they had no way of knowing that they wasn't their family. i cant remember how the other story ended now?? but they sound strikingly familiar.

@riveramnell143Ай бұрын
They probably knew, they just refused to believe it could happen to them. It’s a common belief amongst people with dangerous pets. They refuse to accept those kind of “pets” are not appropriate pets at all because they are too dangerous and eventually they will be harmed or killed. It’s almost like a delusion that only they can tame such dangerous creatures. They always end up maimed or killed. The sad part is usually the animal/s is/are killed too, as if it was their fault.

My totally unprofessional theory on the boat is that they were hijacked, forced to drive to where they were found. When they were found and recognized, the hijackers hid and threatened the crew to keep quiet, refuse help beyond some supplies, thence drive out of sight. Once the hijackers got whatever or wherever they wanted they killed the crew. The journal was the crew telling their family members what happened to them, but the hijackers found the journal and ripped out all the pages that explained and incriminated the hijackers, then they got on another boat and sent the other boat to float out at sea.
@be_heard247Ай бұрын
This makes sense to me. All i could think was some criminal activity. And it makes sense they ripped the pages out. And they could habe gone further and sabotaged the boat to sink but it happened way later when they were being pulled. Just a thought... i have zero idea just spitballing lol

I usually hate to read/listen to the same stories, but Mr. Ballen's storytelling is just so good, I watched the whole video even having watched the videos of three of these stories before. Also, the people who edited it all did a very good job. They sound brand new until a specific detail makes you remember that yes, you've heard this one previously. Has anyone else ever heard the story about the 3 German soldiers who were buried alive during ww2 but nobody knew until they were cleaning up the debris a couple years later and miraculously found two of the men still alive. Sadly one died of shock after seeing the sun for the first time in 3 years but one survived to tell the story of how they stayed alive scavenging in the dark??? Its a crazy story i only heard once. I can't remember when or who i heard it from but im wondering if it was a true story or a extremely good scary pasta. Anyone else know id appreciate it if you replied and told me. ✌🏻✌🏿✌🏽

No way that was true
@Kuwaitisnot_adeploymentАй бұрын
@@maryanne7161 it wasn't in a grave it was in a actual German WW2 bunker. I should have mentioned that. That's why they were able to find enough stuff to eat and whatever because it was a bunker meant to allow like a whole platoon or company for a period of time. There was a whole building above the actual bunker part and that's what was destroyed and caused them to be buried. I don't remember exactly where it was but European cities were practically flattened so that's why it apparently took so long to find them under that building because every building has to be cleaned up or whatever. That's why the story was so good it gave a explanation for every question you would think of to yourself making it impossible. It was either a very very well thought out story or true. Trust me I'm from st Louis Missouri they call us the "show me state" for a good reason. I wouldn't believe some crazy story that was obviously fake but this one was absolutely possible! At least the way I heard it but like I said I only heard it once and can't remember when! Heard it or where I heard it. The only thing that makes it seem like it may be untrue is the fact I've never heard it before or after that one time and nowadays every story seems like it's been told 10 times each minimum but I'd like to know 100 if it's true or false. It'd be a great story for Allen to tell I know that.

How about this for the El Fausto: the guys of El Fausto found simethung drifting at sea, hauled it into their boat and found it dangerous. Fearing it will endanger their community and family, and being already exposed to the thing they found, they decided to take it to the high seas knowing they will die anyway. The 3 later could not take it and jump overseas to die. The Duquesa found El Fauso and discovered the thing on board El Fauso and before they could be exposed, decided to sink the boat. Then they fabricated the official story. The note, it is true. But Duquesa crew tore the missing pages and kept silent about it to hide the fact and avoid investigation. Its a basic maritime law to tow a distress vessel. Duquesa violated it by sinking El Fauso.

@@VB-lc4xz They surely knew their kidnappers would kill them--their only chance would be to all try to clamber aboard the rescue ship. The kidnappers would be unlikely to kill them in front of a huge ship of witnesses, and even if they did try to, likely at least a couple of the 4 would have made it.
@shinigamikittyАй бұрын
It wasn't the Duquesa that was towing it. It was the Italian ship later on that found it and discovered the one dead body and it sunk as they towed it. All 4 people on the boat denied being towed and told the Duquessa they just needed some supplies and they were all good. That aside, I think its very possible this could be what happened. That they found something and knew going home would bring danger to their loved ones and such so they stayed away

"crazy animals"?! Don't you think you're the crazy one here? Of course many animals aren't meant to be domesticated, but lots of dogs or cats can be real threats while many wild animals have been domesticated and never cause any issues. It's more a matter of knowing what your animals/pets are capable of and what dangers they can bring. This poor guy didn't do enough research about his lizards, or else he would've likely known their bite are highly poisonous and can be fatal if not treated immediately and properly.. Some advice dude, learn to express your thoughts with adapted words, and use ponctuation please. Thx

My boyfriend preordered the book for me AND ITS HERE🤭😭❤️I’ve never cried in anticipation of something but I have several times now after learning of the book initially and now the extra story. I am so incredibly ecstatic and I cannot wait to read this book. Thank you Mr. Ballen for all you do for us and for the world! Thank you for bringing us all together and for inspiring me with your interest of the strange, dark, and mysterious!

Haven’t watched a single podcast I subscribe to in 17months after a traumatic event. This will be my first video since. I just got my **AWESOME** book this week so I thought I would start with a Mr Ballen video ❤
