TOP 5 BMX BRANDS FOR BEGINNERS!!

It can be hard deciding what brand of bike to buy! Over 9 years i have ridden and seen tons of complete bikes from different brands. These are the Top 5 BMX Brands for Complete bikes in my opinion, based on my impression of bikes that I have ridden, the quality of parts, the weight, and of course the price!

First I bought a used 2015 Kink Curb at a pawn shop for $50 and it was a complete piece of garbage. It was a good bike but it was in horrible condition, the bars were bend, the chain creeked and skipped with every pedal, the back axle bolts were rusted on and after a few months the chain broke and couldn’t be fixed. Then I bought a used fit bike Inman 1 in great condition for $40 which was great but for some reason it felt so small, like the bars were so low even tho it looked the exact size as my old bike but it wasn’t so I gave it to my friend and I ordered a Elite BMX Destro in oil slick for just under $400 and it’s going to arrive any day now. 🙏🏻🚵🏻‍♀️ also my brothers school bought him a bike as a gift (he’s 18 and is really good at bmx and tricks and stuff) they bought him a used Walmart redline bike, which was horrible but I always felt bad making fun of him because his school got it for him as a Christmas gift, then he got a full chromoly mongoose bike and now he has a haro. @@cody.jpittman4844 it never arrived, chubbysbikes.com fucked me and stopped replying to all of my emails. I search online and found out that a ton of other people ordered bikes from them and they never came, then they completely stop replying to your emails. I never got my money back.

The brand i chose for my first complete is Sunday. Really like the Sunday-Odyssey mix. (except for the brakes that came with it, the Springfield ones. The Lever was the first thing that broke, the thread of the cabletensioner wore out instantly after it took one solid hit from falling.)

Sunday and odyssey are for sure 2 of the best brands. Unfortunately, Brakes are very easy to mess up and break.

Stqrted with a mongoose 7 years ago then i stopped bmx until today where i bought a cult devotion 2020 raw! Realy good bike overall except the height of the headset which is kinda short and induces some back pain, the stock bars width is hella wide had to cut them....im upgrading my cranks (primo stevie churchill 170) and the fork (cult sect v4) because i bought a 20mm headset and the stock fork was to short for it had to replace it

Nice man it sounds like you are building up a sick bike! Nice choice on the raw frame, I love mine! I cut my bars down a half inch on each side of my demolition rig bars too. Happy shredding!

Mine is a we the people arcade 2020 it is light and the brakes are well I don’t use them but just for tricks but it is a very good bike

Most underrated BMX bike:Fit Model 22... insanely responsive to me coming from a 27.5 MTB ... most fun bike ever for me. Get a 22... trust me.

I bike a lot and we have some jumps around my street like of curbs and roots where we get both tires off the ground but I can barely get mine up because I’m using a mountain bike, what is a lightweight bmx bike that is a decent price do you think?

M1lly if you spend 325-450 you can get a good buy from many brands, especially Haro in that range.

Yeah the we the people curse is a nice good bike to get! And Dan's comp used to be the best BMX site a few years ago, but they are now managed by a different company now so I'm not sure if they are still as good as they used to be
