Arrogate was the most impressive race! Just takes his time and shows his incredible strength on the stretch.... Almost like he was bored with the race until the end!!! "THE BIG A" awesome!

Yeah that is probably the order they would finish in. Slew was a dominant horse as well. I didn’t make up that virtual race. Horses from the 70s are better. That’s not even mentioning spectacular bids record of 1:57 for a 1 1/4. I mean really if all those horses where racing each other and on their game that day and your life depended on it you would choose justify over big red!!!

I started watching the video waiting to pounce with criticism for Silver Charn being left off the list or behind very talented and more recent but less accomplished (sustained accomplishment) horses like Justify and Arrogate. Having watched, I say good job. Im in total agreement with Pharoah and Silver Charm 1-2. I think Justify, Arrogate, and Point Given are tough to separate, but I do feel those are Baffert's 5 best horses to date.

@@abigaildeeks8328 I get where you are coming from if you look at his races at face value. I can make the argument that Game on Dude ran a handful of races faster than Justify's top, won twice as many grade1s and 10 more graded stakes. But I think everyone needs to keep in mind that face value doesnt do justice to Justify. What he was asked to do I thought was impossible. Everyone knew about the curse of Apollo, that no horse had won the Derby since 1882 that hadnt run as a 2 year old. Well, Justify not only didnt start at 2, he hadnt made his first start by the end of Janurary, or through the first 2 weeks of February. He took the curse of Apollo and added 6 full weeks to it. And then he didnt stop with winning the Kentucky Derby, he went on and won the Preakness and then topped it all off with a Triple Crown clenching effort in the Belmont. Over the 4 months from mid-Feb to early June, Justify turned on its head 140 years of history and horsemanship, and made an absolute mockery of the curse of Apollo. Just about any other horse would have fallen apart with those demands. In fact, there was a horse with similar inexperience that year, Magnum Moon. But his fate was right in line with countless of other very talented 3 year olds with no foundation; he ran up the track in the Derby and never raced again. I contend that Justify did feel the effects of being asked the impossible. Because of the demands of a racing schedule no modern horse has to deal with, Justify basically didnt improve off his Santa Anita Derby and might have even regressed some. After that race we never saw what Justify could do when given normal recovery time between races where the spacing of races would coincide with improvement that comes with more experience. Instead, he was thrown to the meatgrinder that is the Triple Crown. That he pulled it off is testament to his significant talent advantage over his peers where he could regress some(Preakness) and still win and his unbelievable constitution that kept the regression to a minimum in situations that would have ruined just about anyone else.

It was astonishing to say the hardships and sheer luck of Mr. Grayed hair Tito Bob Baffert whose plummed made him to the culmination of being one of the numerous trainers in the hall of fame accolades. As he was trailing behind Ben Jones from a numerous Kentucky Derby wins with six while he had five.. This year he can equalize if not surpassed that elusive record.. You bet he was destined to get that.. From his disposals he had, for instance, the likes of Authentic, Nadal, Charlatan to name a few. That's what Tito Bob Baffert can have to you. With his credentials.. Salute to this man!!!

Decent order. Maybe Arrogate ahead of Justify and Silver charm though for sheer ability and spectacularness of victory, even though he fell away after his purple patch and he wasn't racing for very long. AP's number 1 though. That horse was just biomechanically different, looked different, moved different, kind of like watching Jordan and realizing you're watching a special, different level of athlete to the other elite athletes. Should never have been allowed to lose the Travers and would have been spectacular at 4 and 5yo if they still did that sort of thing nowadays, he was turning into a monster.

Justify never had a chance to show you his prime! Only raced six times as a three year old! Unbeaten, untested! And so fast, maiden splits on a heavy Santa Anita track of 21 44 109! Kentucky Derby 22 45 first half mile and just keeps running, Belmont untested wire to wire mile and a half geared down.

@@anthonyvargas888 Splits?...Oh lord are we really getting THIS desperate now?...He has finished his races in some of the SLOWEST times in the HISTORY of those races...Had to be SAVED by the WIRE in the Preakness against a couple of MULES at the wire...Trainer needed to WIPE OUT half the Field out of the gate into the first turn with his OTHER Horse to make sure Justify got an EASY CLEAR lead from the rail in the Belmont...Stop it dude...Justify was NOT that good...Connections retired him for Stud value while undefeated cause they KNEW he would eventually start to LOSE races

All I can tell you is any list I have ever looked up Pharo ranks above Arrogate. Which he should. Triple crown is hard to do. I am not some big Pharo fan because to me none of these horses compare to the horses of the 70s period

Justify-Unbeaten and pure untested talent, neither Arrogate or AP can claim.The sky was the limit, after the Belmont, I was already thinking, horse to beat in the Breeders Cup Classic, and out of Scat Daddy, what might he have been on turf? Breeders Cup Mile Turf Winner? Or BC dirt mile? Unfortunately $$$$ got in the way of what could have been! Justify #2 for me! AP #3 Enough said.

The owners kept Audible out of the Belmont because he was Justify's biggest threat. Justify was a good horse but he wasn't in the same class as Pharoah or Arrogate.

Fbanz96, Justify, The ONLY undefeated triple crown winner in the history of the world, and his achievement in history is secure. Justify probably would have gone on and won the Breeders Cup Classic, after all he just beat the.eventual winner of the Breeders Cup classic Vino Rossi, in the Belmont, which was already farther than the classic! Unfortunately ownership realized that the safer secure money was in breeding.

Pharoah ran the 2nd fastest Belmont amongst TC winners and 6th fastest in the history of the race tbf. Then beat a field of G1 winners in the classic. He was cut from a different cloth. Never ducked anyone, never had an issue with surfaces. All time great horse.

AP won the Triple Crown, which is far more important than any race or track record. He didn’t have it easy in the Belmont and the BCC. He made it look easy. And he never had a problem running at Del Mar, unlike Arrogate.

It sickens me that these owners will not allow these exceptional horses do what they were bread to do. RACE. Arrogate was cheated out of his legacy by being forced to race on a track that he was unable to get his footing on. Mike smith his jockey said it was not because he lost his fastball, he just did not feel comfortable on that track. Baffert and company should raced him one final time in the Pegasus cup against gunrunner. He would have trounced that horse. In the famous words of gomer Pyle, shame, shame, shame
