I would add the HyperX CloudX as an honorable mention for the #1 spot specifically for Xbox players since it’s almost identical to the Cloud 2 and it’s actually fully compatible with Xbox unlike the Cloud 2. It can also be bought for $50 brand new on Amazon.

Which one would you say is better? Blackshark v2 X or the Astro A10? I can’t figure out which one to get.

I play on xbox and I keep having microphones on headsets fail on me and all I want is a headset with a really good, reliable mic. The Hyper X headsets seem pretty sturdy and i’ve heard stories of them lasting for years. Would you recommend the cloud 2 or the cloud 3? Both would be wired.

A50 X is a better long term investment, so I'd go with that. But $170 is a real good deal for the gen 4!

Hard to find tbh. I think the best you can really find with bass under $50 is the Astro A10. Gonna need to go with stuff much more expensive like the A40 or PC38X to get any meaningful bass.

@@Kyudo84 Both are featured in the video (red is HP, silver Kingston). Mic test is with Kingston. Cloud II is way more comfortable than the A10 and can be EQ'd to sound just as good.

Headphones are decent but the material naturally lets in a bit more sound than pleather. The mic also is okay at it naturally, but there's no filter since it's just analog.

Cloud II. Just make sure you update the firmware of the USB dongle to get it to work properly.
