Biggest problem for me is that I really struggle with earbuds or IEMs being in my ears. It bothers me and gets very uncomfortable after an hour if not less. So that's why I use over ear headphones/headsets for everything. Great video!

Your budget?

@@stephen0327 Definitely depends on budget for sure as I've only been using very inexpensive ones. But overall, my favorite for hearing footsteps so far is the KZ ZSN Pro X.

I simply don't like in ears (and over ears with strong noise cancellation) in general, when I'm talking to people (which I do all the time in Discord or Teams). When I speak while wearing in ears, I can only "hear" the bass of my voice through my body, but not through my ears. Latency free side tone would help here, but side tone is often not implemented well enough (they often sound unnatural or introduce permanent white noise). If I'm not talking to other people (just watching a video or riding my bicycle), in ears are fine to me. That's why I prefer open back headphones/headsets on my computer. Sadly there are only very few open back headsets out there (atm I'm using the Turtle Beach Atlas Air). The Blackshark v2 Pros went back to amazon, as they isolate sounds way too much for me (Hyperx Cloud III wireless was already canceling out a bit more sound than I prefer, but the Blacksharks were even stronger in that regard).

@@BKMorpheus Have you tried the PC38X? They let in sound pretty freely. Sucks since they're always doing construction near me, but for hearing myself through my headset or my roommate when needed, they're perfect. Also, overall thoughts on the Atlas Air?

@@BadIntentStreamTechReviews At the moment I'm only using wireless headsets (and occasionally my Hifiman Sundara for Music). I gotta say the Atlas Air is very lightweight, has soft thick earpads and is even more cozy than my HS80 or Cloud III. The sound is extremely good (not far off the harman cardon curve). For an open back the sub bass is pretty punchy/deep. Only the mic is kind of meh. It cancels out keyboard noise very well, but my voice comes across a bit "filtered". It's my favorite at the moment, because of the sound+comfort+open back.

Hello, are there any wireless IEMs that you would recommend?
@ddominickk

Budget iems are good for music and movies/tv shows, but their technical performance like claustrophobic soudstage and sometimes messy imaging ruins the experience in gaming. I would say that technically proficient iems like simgot SM4 or EM6L are way to go if you strictly want inear for gaming

@@ddominickk Yes, all the IEMs I've used so far have incredibly narrow soundstages. Unfortunately, that section made the video too long, so I ended up trimming it, but excellent point!

atm i'm using corsair virtuoso wireless for like 3 years and can confirm they are heavy , when i used to use glasses my ears hurt because of the pads clamping down on my big head, i even switched the pads 2 times but the difference wasnt significant ... i ordered my first iem from aliexpress last week (kz zs10 pro x for like 24$), will also get a cheap DAC (looking at the fiio ja11 because they have an android EQ), after that if i like the feel of things in my ears will order something more expensive, hopefully better... btw: witch pair of the 3 iem you have there are better for gaming ? the tangzu ?

Hi please do have a look at Fresh Reviews youtube channel that is fully dedicated to gaming IEMs, according to him Ziigaat Arete 250$ is very good, but I want to know how it compares to Audeze Maxwell or similar priced Headphones
