Thank you! I appreciate that. Though some seem not to like that I put the Arrma at number 2. It's the best buy on the list, But the MJX 1/14 scale makes you say "WOW".

@Rek_Rc I agree 100%. I think the list was perfect. The Gorgon & MJX are completely different cars with similar price points & many folks are having a hard time choosing between the two. Arrma & MJX are doing something right ✅️ 👏

Very well done and informative video! The only vehicle I own is the Gorgon which I really enjoy with my grandson with my 1/7 scale Mojave. Seriously considering picking up the hypergo you ranked #1 as a Christmas gift. Great job! Enjoying your channel! Happy Thanksgiving!!

I really appreciate you watching and commenting. I think the gorgon is about as perfect a budget car that there has ever been. The Hypergo really will WOW you, but it can be a handful for a beginner, though it would make a fun gift for Christmas.

Great job on this video production. It's awesome to get an honest review of these cars. Even though the WLtoys ranked 5th I think it's a great value and would be perfect for a small track. The HyperGo would make for a great basher and for taking jumps.

The wltoys is fantastic, the only reason it's at number 5 is that getting parts for it is possible but could be time consuming. If not for that, the EACHINE would have been number 5 even though it's so cheap. The one ranking I myself and conflicted about it the gorgon being number 2. At the time it seemed clear as to why, but it's objectively the better buy, it's just that the 1/14 scale MJX is such a "WOW" machine. But maybe I should have swapped them.

You did perfect on this lineup. The Gorgon is totally awesome but I already have plenty of trucks. The HyperGo should be in the number one position for sure but untimely each car has it's place in the RC world. The WLToys just seems like a good car for my small oval track and it looks like it can kind of take jumps ok. Parts are a major consideration and the Gorgon is nice because I could get parts the same day at my local hobby store. I wonder what parts besides dog bones would you suggest? Honestly at the low price it might be good to just get 2 cars and use one for parts. @@Rek_Rc

I only got the new wltoys buggy as a backup for when my other cars were broken and it turned out to be one of the most fun cars I've got. Running the grippy fat tires from the MJX is a blast ever notice that the shell is a copy of the red/white/blue & pink/white/purple arrma typhon? Rllarlo may have been the first to use that shape on the 1/12, but that paint job is the same as well as the shape

How does the wltoys you listed compare the the MJX 16207?

Yep, that wltoys is for sure copied from the Typhon in appearance, if it was larger, Arrma would probably have a response to them.

@@luvadealme the 1/12 is actually the smallest offroader that I have, been thinking of getting a small mjx or hbx but I can't really comment. It handles super nice offroad, no gyro needed (I tried), I guess the long wheel base makes it handle quite well

The drift car how is support for it for new wheels and other parts to make it better like getting the wltoys drift cars you can get bunch of new parts

Stock parts are easy to get for it, oil filled shocks as well. But not so much as far as upgrades, but as with any rc car, you can always upgrade many things yourself.

Although not being brushless and 2wd I would disagree on the MJX over the Gorgon. Mind you I don't own either so it's not based on bias or fanboy-ism. Let me explain. The Arrma, even upgraded to brushless seems rather controllable even at higher speeds. It is really well balanced all round from suspension to weight distribution. The MJX however is seen in videos only tumbling and bouncing around and almost never seems to be able to drive in a straight line off road. Also working on the Arrma is paradise compared to the MJX. So yeah, the MJX is cool, powerful and a lot of bang for buck, but overall I think the Arrma will prove to be better.

Oh the Arrma is budget car of the year objectively speaking for sure. The only reason I placed it second is only because it doesn't blow you away with its out of the box performance, though upgrading is a breeze. The MJX does blow you away out of the box. So I ranked it number 1 on that. But I agree the Arrma is the better buy

I agree 100%. I actually ordered MJX after a small research how to enter hobby. From videos such as this. But after a while I changed my mind and regret to have ordered it. It just keeps flipping over. My only hope is that i ordered version with gyro...

@@kaskalo2 the newer 1/14 scale version may have a gyro, I haven't checked, but there is a newer version to the one I featured. If you want a gryo you can always try a dumbo radio and receiver, they are about 40 for the pair and they have a gyro. I use them in most of my larger scale cars.

I was waiting for the MJX Hypergo 14210 to be available & order one. However i probably wont bother now, having seen a number of reviewers claim there is an inherant problem with the truck design. As it can torque roll to much even at slow speeds, leaving you to do plenty of walking where the car keeps flipping over. Besides the problem of being over powered for its size, im a big fan of MJX as i do have 3 of there other rigs & luv em but wont be getting the 14210. For me the Gorgon is the better choice, which i also have.

I've seen other channels saying the same thing, I just haven't encountered that issue with mine.

My first R/C car was the hyper go MJX 1/16th. It seemed really impressive with 3s, but the diffs just destroy themselves over and over and I have to admit I’m confident I would like many other R/C cars more than this. It’s almost undrivable outside of a straight line.

@@johnlocke3481 yes the 1/16 scale MJX was extremely tough structurally, but as you said, the diffs may as well been made of butter because that's what they became before long. They do seem to have gotten better with the 1/14 scale line up, I haven't broken mine yet. The Bezgar variant seems good so far too. But I certainly acknowledge your point about the 1/16 MJX diffs. What I ended up doing with my 1/16 was put 500k fluid in them to basically lock them which kept the internal movement to a minimum which did extend their life a lot. But it didn't improve the already difficult handling at all. They handle poorly because they are over powered for the wheelbase. Which can be fun, but also frustrating I admit.

That's easily fixable. You just need to lower it and maybe widen the stance a little. Also the tyres are too gripy.
