The Noco looks a good bit of kit. I don’t have a ridge monkey as I have an oven but the others I take including a whatever happens happens attitude. I would also say a torch is essential, I have a not very stylish hat with torch but it is great for taking my Cavapoo out at night. Is it the Vanlife festival in Shrewsbury you are going to? If so we are going too so if I see you I’ll say hi. Take care Gill

I still need to sort something out toilet wise 😂 I originally wanted one similar to what you have but I made my bed and cupboard first where as I know you made yours to fit around the toilet, smart idea! 🤣 looking forward to meeting you in person at a festival though! Interesting about the Noco, I have an ex-BG Caddy (and the same cool-looking blue tartan cushion covers!) and was thinking about getting a Noco, but you mention not needing one because of the isolator... Do you isolate the battery all the time when not in use?

In my limited experience, it does it by itself. In other words, should the battery drain the red isolator button pops out and stops it discharging completely. It should leave you enough juice for you to turn the motor over

@@deekayunited3445 thanks! Mine can't be working as a few times when I've not used it for a week or two it's drained to the point where I can't even unlock the doors, I've had to jump start or recondition and recharge the battery

@vonobox1 that’s crazy!! I’ve never heard of that happening, when converting my van (using the lights in the back) it would quite often get to the point where the battery was low and the isolator would kick in, I ran the van for 10 mins and then it would be fine again. Perhaps yours has been disconnected or wasn’t connected correctly from factory. I’m no mechanic though so just a thought 😂😂
