Funny, I've invested quite a bit and get the best I can as fast as I can - but of all the characters you mentioned I've only got Apothecary, Kael and Tayrel - sad - because I can't beat any of the dungeons yet - I've got to 19 on Dragon and Ice Golem, 14 on Spider & Fire Giant, but can't get past them - at the moment, I just need better gear which I know, so that's what I do. Love the videos their WICKED - yes I'm from Beantown as well - keep it up.

While a while back, I would have agreed with your dungeon difficult list. With the AI changes, IG IMHO is now the most difficult by far. Related to that, I no longer value RG that much because on Auto, he can trigger Vengeance when both minions are up.

i was hardstuck on fireknight almost no multihitters, pulled coldheart, gave her counterattack with the second free weekly champ and it was done easily :D She made it alone almost She will be one of my first 60s now

Hi ASH nice video as usual. I have a question. I just got Battlesage champion and i wonder if she's good to tank spiderlings (maybe ice golem) like zephyr. With her 3 turns revive buff on 4 turns cooldown booked it's would great. Her 2nd skill is huge too (remove debuff vs spider and ice golem). I hope you read this comment. Best regards.

Is block res abilities really never considered on ice golem? The only block res user I know right now is Booldgorged but even then it still gets rid of the main gimic of.the ice golem especially if you focus the block heal one on the left

Ash Umbrella Enchantress is the bomb getting through the waves in ice golem. Wave 1 she taunts wave 2 turns then wave two she blocks the reflect dam buff from going on the mobs. I'm not a whale and have not been playing all that long but her kit had enabled me to down IG 20 mind younot best times ever but 100% auto team. I was failing balancing the waves and the boss.

Skullcrown with low hp, high defense and resist with retribution mastery and lifesteal gear can carry spiders.

I forgot to add warmaster mastery as well for extra damage on spider. Add in other units for defense down and maybe a blazing fast Armiger for turn meter reduction. My team that got me through spider 20 on auto was Armiger, Coldheart, stag, apothecary and Skullcrown. I have a miscreated monster, but ironically enough his shields prevented the retribution mastery from activating.

High katun for speed lead, tm boost and tm reduction. She's a free login reward, but depends on if you want to devote that many resources to. Armiger is an uncommon. Highly useful in spiders, fire knight and faction wars. Easy to book too, just by pulling mystery shards.

So why is poison so good against dragon? I hear everyone say that but have never really understood why.

It reduces the time by a lot. If you have someone like Draco or Frozen Banshee that stack up the poisons, the dragon can go down on the next turn even with like a fifth of HP still remaining.

Unless someone can explain it better, my guess is that other bosses have different unique mechanics you need to focus on, like for example, fire knight, yea sure poison is good but his things is you gotta take the shield down and heal reduc. For Ice Golem it's about sustainability. Spider, don't drag it out too long.

@@christianlandgrave6960 Because the dragon is immune to turn meter manipulation like the CB. Because of this, the poisons always do damage when the dragon takes its turn. When the turn meter is manipulated, the poisons never land. That's the difference

Poisons are particularly effective against dragon because of its inhale skill. Deals damage on its own turn to help break through the dragon breath.

Ash, you need to look at oathbound as a top here, his aoe is on a 3 turn CD/decrease turnmeter and decrease defense, I think.... 55% he is a bad ass

@@ForestSlump Because karma burn does damage according to enemy max hp and how many buffs seer removes from allies and enemies. Vergis puts on a lot of buffs in 1 move so it stands to reason it would boost her attack if she were to remove them after Vergis places them.

Hi. I am a new player to Raid. I've been playing for seven days now and I have been playing a lot and watching a lot of videos from several content providers and I have found some content that I am not seeing and am interested in seeing. What I am not seeing is middle tier champions. Every major content provider, across multiple games, comes up with many "best" and "worst" lists, but I rarely ever see major creators provide "middle of the road" lists. The problem I have is that after watching many "best champions" videos I am seeing 99% of the champions on every channel. This makes sense but at the same time isn't much help as a new to middle player. The majority of the champions fall under the middle of the road so I understand that there are a LOT of middle level champions, but what I am interested in seeing is a list, maybe 15 champions, of champions that are not top tier, but the next down, so I guess "A" class instead of "S" class. And perhaps tell what makes them "A" class instead of "S" as well as who to look for to replace them at top tier. I understand is probably take a bit of time and resources looking into middle tier champions, but I feel like that would be content that would appeal to a LOT of players, especially early to middle game players. Just a suggestion. Thank you.

He ranks all champions, everything except commons by S rank A rank B rank all the way to F rank. That being said, take everything in all guides with a little grain of salt. The best advice I think anyone can give is to pay attention to the game mechanics and what types of skills and abilities are valuable and even an uncommon or rare that isn't even featured in these lists can by quite viable to help you into the mid game. Skills like increase defence, increase attack, speed, turn meter manipulation, Cool down manipulation, block debuffs, and remove debuffs, etc are HUGE is this game. Many of the uncommons and rares that you might be discarding a couple months in can help you quite a bit in the first weeks and even in some cases later into the game. One great champion you can just farm from campaign is WarMaiden, Others that are very good for early game are Spirit Host, Executioner, Heiress. Focus on farming those. Always save your shards Ancient, Void, Sacred, for special increase summon events. You don't get many void and sacred shards from this game unless you spend tons of money. But I don't recommend spending much money at all as the RNG is so bad you can literally spend 1000 dollars on this game or more and hardly get any of the legendaries or epics you need to become top tier. What game is like that!? Anyway, that's why it's best to just save your shards for 2 X chances summon events.

Yeah, I've seen one or two lists like that and I find them a bit helpful, but unfortunately they don't really talk about why some champions who look like they should be really good are consider just plain bad. And lists do vary of course, but when it comes to champions that have a lot of abilities that should land them in the top 15 but there are no guides on them or even mentions of them it confuses me. For example the rare champion Wretch from the undead faction seems like he should be a great champion for clan boss. He has, if I am understanding it right, an attack that has 100% chance of attempting to place an HP Burn debuff, a self heal attack and an attack that can attempt a Heal Reduction debuff. But a lot of rating lists consider him just plain bad. So it makes it confusing when trying to understand what abilities make a champion good. But beyond that Every month or so I see several content providers putting out "top 10..." videos that just repeat the same champions with, maybe, one or two changes and rather than see the same videos over and over again for the same champions I figured it would be nice to see something a little different. Something that can't be found on 10 to 15 other channels. So maybe a "Top 10 champions that look like they should be good but aren't and why."

Hello Ash, This video is entitled "Top 5 Champions for EVERY Dungeon" but within it, you don't give top five champs for Spirit Keep or Magic Keep. I cannot get past level 13 in either. I have passed level 13 in Fire Knight, Ice Golem, and Spider's Den, but not Spirit and Magic. But level 13 of both Spirit and Magic, I just cannot beat. Can you either point me to one of your past videos, or create a video on how to beat level 13 of these dungeons with most accessible champs?
