$5.75 for 1 sandwich is pretty much the same as Subway or other sandwich places. I remember when sandwiches for $1 in the 90's & early 00's. This was in Orange County, CA. Buy 2 get 1 free. Pretty much everywhere is rising in price & portion is getting small. Only place I know for sure that is still cheap is Sing Cheong Yuan Bakery in Honolulu, Hawaii. Huge piece of siu mai for under $2. Everyone else in Hawaii has raised their prices. Was there in 2019. Everything was under $10. Now in 2024, everything is between $14-18.

If u haven't tried Q Bakery on Graham and MLK, u should. In my opinion, they have one of the best breads baked in house. Their banh mi is a winner too.
