They often stuck at delivery processes by delivering at a very slow rate at the start and the production capacity is not fast enough so their customers often get snatched away by competitors

The best car at the moment is Luxeed R7...it is quietly killing it in the model Y segment ( xpeng G6, multiple BYD models, nio models, Li auto L6 and L7..etc) although it has a noticeable higher price than model Y and G6...it ticks all the boxes (battery range, new tech, goodies that people want, looks, best drive experience etc..)and hence rising sales! Huawei infotainment system is probably the most intuitive and the easiest to use and has English language built in out of factory...it also is made to work seamlessly with Huawei devices (a real Eco system)..

Great list and video Ethan. I think my favorite is the Zeekr 7X. Would be great to have both the Zeekr and Avatr on our Shanghai Road Trip in April. I'll be sending you my wish list soon. For the car enthusiasts Australia is becoming a virtual Disneyland of many Chinese brands. I think 15 brands so far. Why you may ask...zero tariffs and long may it last! Chinese electric cars are starting to leave petrol and diesel legacy brands for dead. I feel so sorry for our North American cousins with their ridiculous tariffs (also to some extent Europe). They may not even know what they're missing. A big let off the hook for legacy US brands too who don't have to compete with the Chinese brands. Of course it will lead to an underwhelming motor industry there. Thanks, Ken.

I think Leopard 8 is an underrated one and will pick it over U8 due to price difference while being family + off-road + powerful enough + full of tech + more comfortable than U8 The U8 is very special indeed but Leopard 8 is better value

Great video. Especially as the Avatr 07 got the win. It's by far the freshest design. It looks like a true ev car. The interior is like sitting in the future. Top tech as well. This has to be celebrated and released globally. The purple or green will be a head turner. Avatr design language is a win for me. And yes the green is my pick. Keep up the good work bro

Excellent video. I know it not belong to this list since it can be qualify as a budget EV SUV in the Chinese market. But I was impressed by the Aeolus (Dongfeng Fengshen) L7 electric and PHEV. This low price including crazy distance range around 2000 KM and very surprising new tech that are not usual for this segment like the streaming rearview camera mirror and interior screens. 4 DHT gearbox. And the starting price around 15K dollars. So this is budget but what an impressive price performance ratio. ^_^

I'm right there with wheelsboy. we've got to face the facts, in the EV era, powerful performance and low energy consumption aren't rare qualities anymore. Cars are getting more and more generic. That's why brands like Avatr, which stick to original and fresh designs and emphasize a cozy interior, while offering top tier AI driving assistance, really hit the spot for me. I hate driving a car that's as common as a grocery store on the corners of every streets. The idea of having seven or eight neighbors on my block all driving the same model? Not my vibe.

me too. Let me know which one you pick. Like the R7 for space but its Cherry. Apparently some say seats are not comfortable and not sure whether Luxeed can have multiple line-ups with success going forward. But biggest issue is Avatr is smaller for 07 (and worse design)

Sad. There are going to be a lot of people in the comments that are going to probably blast me to the Kingdom Comes, but I don't care!! I'd love to see some of these vehicles make it to the United States. There would be many who would love them. Heated, cooling, and massaging seats for the front and rear. You forgot to mention that some of these things have beverage heaters and coolers in the front and in the back. Seriously, I'd love to show off one of these vehicles, Stateside! There's nothing wrong with having an extended range electric vehicle that is practical, luxurious, and having a good range.

I have to say Chinese EV car are amazing!! That's a very comfortable driving experience. I tried driving 600 kilometers and I think Tesla's disclosure of electric vehicle technology was a serious mistake. I only need to spend $1 to drive more than 200 kilometers. Less than 20000 USD to get a car. Chinese electric vehicles have dominant power. If all of these electric cars were powered by renewable energy, that would be wonderful.

I am glad that my personal favorite is the Aito M9 because I love the projection screen and the extended range powertrain, and that it should be Number 1 and it is the best selling car in China and soon , the entire world. And I will buy a fully loaded Aito M9 Ultra anyway.
