I really hope the Buster Sword stays relevant throughout Rebirth and the third game and you'll have meaningful upgrades to it so it stays strong because of how important the Buster Sword is.

One oddity that FF7 did that I don't think any of the others did was the gag weapons. The nail bat being clouds. I always found this interesting, especially since the tales series uses this gimmick in most of their games.

They kind of gave Cloud's ultima weapon a fresh new look in DIssidia. The blade itself had more design to it whereas the original just looked like a giant piece of crystal, not sure which I prefer.

You also gotta remember in the original game the graphics were no where near as good as they are now they really couldn't give it much detail back then lol

@@adamgouldman5545 Fair point, so one wonders if on some unseen original concept of the sword, it was always meant to look the way it is in Dissidia or if it simply got a modern rework now that they can show more details

I love your content so much. Do you plan on covering multiple characters weapons not just FF7 but across the series? I know it's a lightning rod (no pun intended) but the weapons of FF13 are super interesting.

Thanks I'm glad you enjoy it. I think around larger reviews I will continue to look at how things like weapons contribute to gameplay experience. I need to play through FF13 again, as its been about 7-8 years. I will probably do so when I've finished World of Final Fantasy
