I want to bake cookies so I'm interested in the Toshiba ECO42A5C-BS. Can I put a metal pan on top of the glass dish when using the convection feature?

You bet! The convection feature uses a standard heating element (not microwave) so you can safely put metal pans inside it. However, you'd want to be careful and double-check your settings to make sure that it's not set to microwave function. Hope that helps! Thanks for the interesting question and comment. Hey there! Great questions! Sorry if I failed to mention it in the video. The dimensions of the AmazonBasics Small Microwave unit are 17.3” x 10.1” x 14.1” (width x height x depth). Nope! Unfortunately, that oven does not have smart features. If you want a microwave countertop that supports voice commands, you might want to check out the AmazonBasics Small Microwave unit (works through Alexa). Hope that helps! Hi there! Good question! If you want to toast bread using a microwave, you can go for either the Panasonic or Toshiba ECO42A5C-BS countertop microwave oven. Both have the broiler or convection function that you can use for making toasted bread. Note that with a microwave oven, the heat only touches one side of the bread so you'll have to flip it over to get similar results as a dedicated bread toaster (around 1 minute for each side).
