Man I miss the good old days of poker with characters and actual personalities like Scotty Nguyen, Humberto Brenes, Marcel Luske. Watching the wsop now is almost painful.

That's like saying you miss the good ol' days of musicians like Michael, Madonna & Prince. Or the artists like Picasso, Vermeer and Cezanne. This year's turnover was the greatest ever recorded. Let the legends live in history with 10-2 off and learn to live in the present!!

I know a lot of people hate playing jacks and say there’s no correct way to play it, but that is definitely not the way to play them. Lost out on so much value

Hellmuth Vs. Morris shows the difference between someone trying to WIN the tournament and someone trying to CASH. Hellmuth is making aggressive moves to build a stack or go home. Morris played conservative because he did not want to be eliminated on that hand.

Yeah that was awful. Wtf after they all check the flop what did he put him on to not raise that river? First off he should've bet the flop on such a wet board but not raising the river is criminal.
@67steinip3 ай бұрын
I thought he was trapping? turns out he was just scared? honestly what the hell with that river, what you think you are up against AA or QQ? common.. If you arent getting values from these you arent going to go far. People sometimes play scared they are always worried that if you raise, that the other player will always have the cajones to go all in, sometimes (gambling asians) can but again you can't just laser focus on few combos that beat you.. Im stunned.

He loses to any pair higher than 9. He loses to any two pair, any 4, and has to worry about 2 clubs. When the board is paired you have to be worried. He loses to at least 50 different hands.
