Top 5 Cutlass Upgrades‼️

Here are my top 5 upgrades that we have done so far to the Cutlass! Still have more upgrades to go. These upgrades have really made Palomo even more fun to drive. Thank you for all the support and for watching Cutlass Vibes.

Nice gbody Cutlass. My favorite boby style of the gbody cars. I have an 85 442 Olds.

A few nothing major. Mainly a 406 sbc and a 4l80e. Got a Dakota Digital dash for the electric speedo for the 4l80. Keep the videos coming good content.

i have a 86 ss the upgrades i did was blew the 305 (head gasket caught too late during lockdowns) bought a brand new GM crate 350 L05 200-210 hp 300 tq truck motor. hooker sbc exhaust manifolds 2.5" exits with 2.5" full duals 1 chamber amazon ripoff mufflers, wheels black solid dish (no holes) oem style steel custom made by wheel smith 17x8s 3.5" bs, 245/50/17s redline tires and car is black. its a regular driver/ cruiser nothing crazy.

@@CutlassVibes usually mufflers like those are reffered to as "flowmaster ripoffs" surprisingly they sound nothing like them (annoying tinny sound) i also have high flow magnaflow cats which may help make them sound more like glasspacks. i like it only thing is while its loud but not as loud as hoped and for some odd reason its sound seems to fit the car. lol the brand is totalflow.

Oh ok gotcha lol....well I'm glad it atleast fits the car. I've used those off brand Flowmasters before with my old 355 I had in the Cutlass.

Does you car have a 2" drop?

Installed them going on 3 years now, regular maintenance, and absolutely no issues at all. Are you thinking about changing over?

@@CutlassVibes awesome i'm kinda in a situation (long story) were i need to drop 1" and seems that coilovers might be best way to go unless they gonna fall apart or something stupid with all the extra moving parts. i need a set it & forget it for a regular driver. if you don't mind i have a few more question, i have a 86 ss. thanks

Coilovers would be perfect to drop it 1 inch.... and it is nice to just set them and drive it. I think you will be more than happy when you install them coilovers and you won't have to worry about any issues. You will love them I'm sure. Thanks for watching Cutlass Vibes. @@CutlassVibes i had sometime this wk to get some ?s answered sorta. when you got the coilovers did you do the control arms at same time in front of did you use stock 1st with coilovers then later convert to tubular if so did you need plates for the T bar? also the upper tower brace in rear why did you go with 1? and i seen 2 people who did coilovers and it raised their front when trying to lower & had to get 2"drop spindles, i asked and got no reply, you have any ideas on that? thanks.

@punch_bowl_turd3005 I'm glad you got some questions answered. We did the coilovers and upper/lower control arms all at the same time. I also went with the upper tower brace because of the frame notch. I wanted to help out a little since I believe you weaken the frame some after a frame notch. I had heard some good things about this one I went with. That is weird to me that there were some that raised some cars....the coilovers I went with said you could drop up to 2 inches, and it sure did. I did not have to use 2" drop spindles at all. I hope this answers your questions. Thank you
