I’ve known him for 41 years this is how he is. At home to. Not saying he isn’t likeable most of the time but my family does things with his and he has been around my aviation stuff. He is mostly respectful but you can tell he thinks he can talk to anyone that way sometimes. I will say on his boat his rules. I wouldn’t know if the show is set up maybe it is but if so it’s not far from how he really is
