Oh about Karakuri, i think they have room for Handtraps. The most important are the Merchant, Gama, and Bonze. The merchant is one card combo to Bureibu with the others as garnet. Probably Lv4s like Muso, with Bonze still can summon the lv9 Shogun.

I'm gonna be playing zombie shiranui, I've been gradually fleshing out the structure deck you get from solo mode since the synchro event was leaked. EDIT: it just occurred to me that the festival is probably promoting the new packs since all the loaner decks use those cards, so I'd expect the fusion event to feature the fusion strategies from the despia pack.

But there's a standard shiranui engine you can find online easy enough that slots together fine with the classic zombie engine, then obviously the ghost girls synergize since they're mostly zombie tuners. IIRC the only shiranui card the structure deck doesn't have is the level 10 UR (but the shiranui pack also has gozuki and mizuki so there's worse packs to open if you want to try pulling it).

Well the synchron I think will work perfectly with chaos ruler since most of the deck are light and dark monsters, also junk synchron can ss from grave and stardust synchron has grave effect, along with a broken dark tuner called destrudo and the jet synchron which are free here. Yes, synchron will be a thing this format. Other decks I think will be great, too for the event are speedroid (of course), flower cardian and pure adamancipator

wind barrier isn't AS powerful of an option when speedroid is going to be as popular as it will be. summon barrier they go "lol ok, i was locking myself into wind anyway" and do the exact same play as normal

Wind barrier is kinda weak when almost every annoying Synchro boss monster is Wind(Baronne, Speedroids, Clearwings, Stardusts, even Shenshen). If anything, a deck that locks people from playing Wind monsters is going to be more effective, whether by hitting another element or forcing play in multiple.

Dragunity is nice but .yeah Dragunity only works cuz you use Heratic eggnog.. but it's a link soo yeah.. it's worst lmao. EDIT: tried the pure synchro dragunity but yeah it is actually pretty decent.. in my opinion much more consistent than VW. lacks enough negates compared to speedroids but it's still good specially strong in mid to late game. you can pop off better compared to other synchro decks. yeah besides the negates isssue cuz Areadbhair is great but not enough. well you can go borrel but still not as consistent compared to speedroids. Still better and I think on higher tier.

The only hard part is getting a normal monster efficiently. Yazi Mare Mare is the best option but if that gets interrupted its rough. Also only works going 2nd. I tried Unexpected Dai and other things but they kinda sucked

also gamma is gonna be insane in VW. pairs with nib to wipe boards, hits a ton of things going first and can make omega to punish your opponent. trades with most boss monsters when you're going second. it's just a must if you're playing the deck imo

i was debating wether to try building despia, speedroids or mekk-kinghts yesterday. I decided for speedroids and the day after they annouce this. I got pretty lucky with the speedroid secret pack, but not at all with the selection pack. Instead of any of the three possible boss monsters (baroness, high-speed rider and crystal clear wing) i pulled three more clear wing if i remember correctly. And i already had 2 from the speedroid packs. one was royal rare at least

I got 2 promising deck already. Zombie world shira amd blackwing. Both no hand trap no ash no max c no called by no kaiju nothing. Just pure to their archetype. Been testing for a few days, zombie world shira is definitely more competitive but pure blackwing is very very very fun to play. Both got plat. Take some time but yeah, things gonna change with the synchro event banlist.

For Adamancipators you might consider the LIGHT level 10 synchro Dragon (don't know the name) that gains 800 ATK per card in the hand when it's summoned. It's a second 10 to synchro off your Block Dragon and if you have only 1 card in hand when you summon it it will go to 3200 because of Block Dragon.

Keep in mind, the banlist can change to how some of these decks are, so I wouldn't be surprised if something like Admancipator were to get some sort of hits. I also think they might actually do something about Tzolkin since it's a card that cheat out Synchros, but we'll have to see. Definitely expect the same things like the certain Pots being Extravagence, Disparity to be banned looking back at the Xyz Festival.

One thing I would like to add to Virtual World is that they have a level 3 earth. You can splash a level 2 earth psychic to summon off with E-tele to make NatBeast as an option

I've seen some Japanese players playing some mathmech turbo, resonators and yang zing decks. Overall great variety of decks to play. I really want to try to make my beloved Lightsworns work because they can make 7's and 8's so easily (Raiden and Felis are 4 Tuners and most of the good main deck monsters are 3 or 4) but I know without Minerva and Curious if I play it I will lose every single game lol. For anyone low on gems but have the capacity to craft 3 SRs, I would highly suggest Unchained. Unchained would be perfect for a Link festival, but they also function without the Extra Deck as long as you have 2 Unchained Abomination and 1 Unchained Soul of Disaster. The rest of the archetype is Rare and Common.
