I just swapped my front pads and rotors on my '19 Daytona 392. The factory ones were pretty much done at 30k miles. The factory replacement ones the dealer was going to charge $3,000 in parts. Powerstop had a whole Z26 kit for $1,200, and they perform better than factory IMO.

Nice, great to hear! The pads are great. Glad the rotors are working well for you too

My first mods on my 22 hellcat charger were Gloss black hood and spoiler wrap Tint (windows, markers, taillights) Mid muffler delete Lighting trendz leds (head lights, grills and hood scoop, undercarriage, interior) De badge Rear badges and changed side badges Rear tires (nitto nt555r2) Next mods Oil catch can Cold air intake That may be it for me. I am in talks with a local shop to add a few hundred horsepower. Told them I want at least 900 hp.

@shellscat7073 didn't go through with the e85/mods. I wasn't aware but you won't be able to smog your car. Therefore no registering it in California.

ZL1 rockguards all around, UPR catch can off amazon, Powerstop brakes, Ceramic Window tint. That was my first 4 mods I did the first week with my 22WB. Not a mod but decon wash and a good wax job is a must!!
@TboneSRT2 жыл бұрын
Awesome! Great start. I didn't add some things in the video like window tint and ceramic coating that we did but those are definitely a must as well for sure!
@anthonybrown9909 Жыл бұрын
Nice info guess, with the power stop brakes (Z26) should I get the ceramic coated or not? I have a 2022 Scat with dynamics pkg with 6000k
@TboneSRT Жыл бұрын
Yes you want the ceramic ones! Less dust and quieter

Nice video, I agree 100% with the brake pads, I bought the Power stop Z 26, best 90 bucks I ever spent, haven’t cleaned my wheels in quite a while, catch can I installed couple of years ago, I’m 2 miles from 17,000 miles on my 2018 charger Daytona 392, I collected a little more and half of a 16 ounce water bottle of oil, as far as exhaust goes my Daytona has a active exhaust and I think it’s loud enough I don’t really need to attract more attention out there, I subscribed to see what you have as far as wax and detailing, I use Griots ceramic 3-in-1 wax, I used many and I found this to be awesome, I’ll be watching out for you.

Sweet! I'm glad most of you guys agree with me on this stuff!! And shoot, I guess I better get on this one then 😆 our cars are all ceramic coated so the products I use for washing and detailing are exclusive to the coating brand but for the guys who don't have coated cars, I have a fantastic line of some of the best detailing products for cars that aren't coated! So I'll be making this video soon!

@@TboneSRTgreat video, for someone looking at a SCAT. As a fellow TBL fellow, is there a way I can contact you privately? I’m trying to get someone information, and being we’re in the same business….you’d probably be the perfect source

I did the PowerStop Z26's and they're great.. Only been 10 days but I can see very little brake dust. I have a 2020 Charger SP Widebody with only 7200 miles. I should've swapped the brakes pads two years ago.

I have some Amsrican Brothers Designs stuff on my 21 Charger. They are great products! But yes for real, the brake pads make such a huge difference. It will definitely be the first thing I ever do again

I’ve always used jl oil separator company formally known as JLT for my catch cans. Why didn’t you go through them?
@TboneSRT2 жыл бұрын
Great company. I run their intakes. But my wife wanted a red one and they had a sale going on so I bought it. I still haven't received it yet lol

You should’ve added better tires, stock tires ain’t too good I recommend the nitto nt555
@TboneSRT2 жыл бұрын
Oh I fully agree on the tires. One of the first things I did to my 21 scat was tires. But those tires were far worse than the ones that come on this car! My go to tires is the Mickey thompson street comp

What is the cons of a muffler delete?
@TboneSRT Жыл бұрын
No custom X pipe, 2.5" piping instead of a full 3" and if you want to delete thr exhaust valves, you'll need to either program them out with a tazer which costs 250 or you coukd get the MFER delete. Also (this is subjective) but I think a full 3" cat back sounds better. Muffler delete still sounds good but I prefer a nice 3" stainless exhaust

Power stop pads over akebono?

Akebono makes great brakes, I can't speak to them in comparison to the powerstop pads for this application though. I've never used them
