Don’t forget you need to store updates for physical games on your storage, the internal storage will do, but the more collection you had the more space it took

Not that I disagree with your choices but as someone who's just getting into the Nintendo Switch market, currently buying an OLED for myself and two Lites for my young boys, to me the one thing you left off was in fact the most important... A grip. My list would be as follows: 1. Grip. Either the Satisfye or Skull and Co. depending on your personal preference. I ended up going with the Satisfye for a two main reasons. #1 Better ergonomics to cause less long term strain on my children's wrists. #2. Better case. The Satisfye case includes a spot for a battery pack and overall just liked their case design better. 2. Screen Protector - Ended up going with amFilm on Amazon. Highly rated and fairly inexpensive at $8. 3. Battery pack - Anker Powercore 13400 Nintendo edition 4. Memory Card - Your choice is perfect. SanDisk Ultra 256 GB right now runs under $30. 5. Thumb Grip Set - Went with the Skull and Co. FPS Thumb Grip Set for around $10. Bonus Item: Skin - dBrand. My son wanted a red Nintendo Switch Lite which they don't offer. So I'm getting him the gray one and using a red dBrand skin.

I’ve never heard someone refer to handheld mode as desktop mode, desktop mode sounds more closer to dock mode to me haha

Desktop is when you have it sat on your desk and using it with a separate controller looking at the switch screen itself. Handheld. Desktop. Docked. 👍🏻
