This is a very interesting video about Montreal-Trudeau International Airport. I live close to it and enjoy the planes a lot. When you mention that there are three runways at this airport, it is partially true. It would have been more accurate to specify that the 10-28 runway, the shortest one, is no longer used for take-offs and landings, but mostly as a taxiway. Only the two parallel runways (06-24) are now used for take-offs and landings. Have a great day!✈

Rwy 10-28 has been closed for a number of years! The airport authority has plans to build additional gates out towards 10-28 from the main terminal.

It's been officially relabeled from 10-28 to twy C in early 2024.

Hi! Awesome video! I am from Montreal and I have travelled a lot, so I am very used to YUL airport. It's a nice airport, not the best, but it is quite nice. We really enjoyed staying in the Star Alliance Lounge, it's really worth it to stay there while your waiting for your plane. They even have a small food counter with delicious food, I was really surprised. And that lounge is just so comfortable. Anyways, I'm going at YUL in 6 days. Going to Cancun!!!

Me as a Montrealer love my airport so much. I’m 25 soon so I saw is transformation a lot. P.s. the international zone was opened to domestic passengers until 2019. Its really a shame, best part of the airport.

Can we take international terminal gates when we are travelling to Montreal
@DeltaBravoTango2 жыл бұрын
You can if you are arriving from outside the country, and if you are travelling internationally (outside of Canada and USA)

Hey Victor! not sure if you remember me, but it Darin Paul, From Prime Aviation, just wanted to say it was a great video, also what's the story behind, your KZbin name, always wanted to know

Thanks man! Really appreciate the support! As for my name, it's a long story and kind of random but I got the main idea from a Tintin book, and also DBT is my favourite three phonetic letters so that could be the short story version haha. Cheers mate

Does anyone know how long it takes to go from the domestic terminal to the far end of the international departure terminal by foot?
@DeltaBravoTango2 жыл бұрын
If you walk quickly it's roughly 5-10 min

@@DeltaBravoTango Thanks. It looks like there is a security check before entering the international terminal; does it take long? I will be arriving in one of the gates in the domestic and didn't realize one would have to go through another security point.
@DeltaBravoTango2 жыл бұрын
@@rps1689 yes there is a security gate. It may take more time or go fast, will depend on time of entry.

Mirabelle airport was a first class airport, call me old or nostalgic, but Montreal did the worst thing to demolish such grand airport.

I agree, thanks for watching! Largest certainly doesn't mean busiest, although I'm not sure where I've said that. Toronto is the largest and certainly the busiest though, cheers
@JuanAmeritano-yj5xt Жыл бұрын
@@DeltaBravoTango Edmonton is the largest Airport in Canada. The old YMX in Montreal, which now is a freight airport is bigger than Toronto. Bigger, larger not busiest.
