this is so wholesome, idk why. This video feels like listening to your grandparents talk about something they're passionate about (except here, your grandparents are 10 times as fit as you ._. )

Thank you for the recommendations (and the humorous outtakes 🤣). Good luck in the Chicago marathon, Kelly! That one is my favorite! It was my first marathon, years and years ago, AND on my 26th birthday. ❤️

I would go to the flying Pig just for that sweet Medal:) Another great video. Thank you! My favorite Marathon is the Calgary Marathon. I go in it every year and it's great because they close down the streets (maybe they do that for all marathons) but it's cool to run down a normally very busy 4 lane road, through downtown, etc. Just a great event to take in.

Great List of races - Harvey I have run 3 of those 5 (Columbus-Boston and LA) all years ago.... (Just got back into running about year and half ago post minor heart attack) - am following a pretty decent whole food diet based on the Forks over knives doc. My wife and are are from metro Detroit and the Freep International marathon is great as well if you ever get a chance - you get to run some miles in Canada and go thru many great spots in downtown Detroit. Last spring I ran a half (they have a full) the Bayshore marathon in Northern MI - Traverse City if you get a chance it is beautiful country side and this fall my son and I ran the Indy 1/2 marathon which was great as well. Your both great inspirations to running - my wife and I traveled back from a weekend getaway for our 33 anniversary and my 58 bday and listened to you both on the RICH ROLL Podcast and saw the Doc you did Harvey w your father and the Appalacian trail - was great. Reminded me of years and years ago when I started marathon training and my dad would meet me a various spots on my long training runs w some water. He would be in his 1985 Chevy Astro Van reading the newspaper w half dozen Dunkin Donuts and smoking a cigarette waiting for me to approach on many a Sunday am LOL. Keep up the great videos we love the dog too.....

I always feel so fortunate to have the Flying Pig for my local race. The entire city really shows up and it's like a huge celebration for runners. When I was ready for a marathon (2023) there was no other race I wanted for my first, and even with the massive rainstorms the crowd support was still great and I loved every single step of the way! I have done the Columbus half and was a Lashutka spirit award winner with them a couple years ago and it was the race that convinced me I was ready for more. I love how they champion the children and recognize other people who are assets to the running community. Both fantastic races.

Yes, we’re so lucky to have those marathons. They are both fantastic and it’s a plus that on is in spring and the other in fall 🙌

This is a cool video! Being from Canada, I'm looking forward to traveling to the US for one or more of these in the future. If you're ever back in Canada, I'd recommend the Toronto Waterfront Marathon in October!

Thanks for the recommendation! We visited the Banff and Jasper area last August, one of our favorite trips!

@@HarveyandKelly I'm not far from Jasper! If you ever come back for the Canadian Death Race, it would be great to meet you both there.
