Great recap! For the upcoming video, it'd be awesome to review the most dynamic ticktack series and shots that involve creative juggling. Evan Stachelek's unique style and Ryan Moore's Chuck Norris series come to mind.

A video of slow mo shots, with 5 or so great players executing the same shot, of all kinds with expert commentary giving breaks downs on the ins an outs of this shot type. A in depth look at banking the ball from all positions on the tornado.

I enjoyed that and I'd like to see ANY series other than snake or pull shot, I know people don't shoot a lot else but if there's any three bar content other than snake or pull shot I'd love to see it cheers Albie

I got to see him do this live in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin back in the early 2000's. Most amazing thing I've ever seen on a foosball table and appreciate seeing it again. Too bad I didn't get to play against him, would have been a great experience.

When I first started playing in 1980, I saw a show on TV called "Games People Play" once, and it had a Foosball segment with top pros of the day. They were college looking kids or a bit older, and one of them would move the ball with only the center guy of the 3 man bar, from one side of the goal to the other, (about a 2.5" travel each way, or what the bar stops would allow as your man has to get on the other side of the ball to move it the other direction. He did it so fast, back and fourth as many times as he wanted, until he saw the hole. I could reverse it once or twice that fast, but not keep going until I see a hole like he did. I never saw that shot before or after. Lots of great shots do not seem to exist today. But I know I can make some of my old shots on these guys. :)

We developed about a dozen shots from the 3 man bar back in the 80's, and this was one of them, (small town, never saw any other play). We used to even wait for the goalie to get ready,---just so we can snake them with what ever shot they were weak in blocking. Myself and one other guy became the masters of our county and surrounding counties, and we were just having fun doing it, being creative, and even tricking the goalie so bad, we could "put" a few in. (no that is fun folks). The only part of play where these guys would smoke is is with the 5 man control and passes to the 3 man bar. But if we took turns taking shots from the 3 bar,---none of the players today would scare me. I bet there are a lot of old guys---who could show the new generations some tricks they never saw before. It seems like the straight push/pull or pinch shot, (both got easier with the wider goal of the Tornado table when it came out), dominate today. But what fun is that when you can set up for 4 different shots and pick the one you want on the fly? Our goalie technique was different too, with the toes of the men pointing to each other, (but not so high the ball can go under the toe), to close the center hole, so you can hold the guys further apart. There is very little going between them. We made you go around them. When I played some really good pros, they had a hard time getting around me, and I could make my shots on them. But because my 5 man stinks---I could not get the ball to my 3 man much. I don't know how you guys get such good coordination in the left hand. My left hand is like a brick compared to these guys. In the old days pulling a "quick-strike" or a 5 bar shot would get you into a fight. My how times have changed!

Yea, I know. We developed so many great 3 man shots, we would wait until the goalie was ready. But we also knew it was not a rule of the game, but it was just so much more satisfying to totally "out snake" the guy with a great combo shot. The goalie even got more nervous if we told them before we shot, "You look a little nervous". lol. We used to fake guys out so bad,---sometimes we would create a hole where we could just tap the ball in slowly, like a gold putt. Way more embarrassing than just getting slammed asap, and way more fun doing it. :)
@EarthSurferUSA3 жыл бұрын
We played more on "trickery" than just a fast pull or push shot. I had so many 3 man shots, I never found a need to perfect a pinch shot. I can make them on these guys too today. But they out pass me by far with the 5 man, so I would not get the ball to my 3 man enough to beat them.

I never played pro, (but could have, pros have told me), but we developed many shots , (even slow ones), that we could move in a combination, and pick which shot we wanted to do on the fly. We still usually had to have speed, but it was more trickery to get the goalie to open up a hole. Sometime we would fake them out so bad, we could just slowly tap it thought the hole. That---is embarrassing for the goalie,---but a lot more fun as the shooter. :)

I think I only saw one wall pass converted to this shot.... so the best way to stop it is to just always block the lane!
@ReidMTB4 жыл бұрын
I only played him once, but that's what I ended up doing, just wiggling around in the lane and giving him the wall pass. Then try my luck at blocking his rollover ...
@EarthSurferUSA3 жыл бұрын
Nope. The best way to stop it is you making the 5-3 pass. Just about everybody can make 50% of the 3 man shots they take, (including me against these guys), and to win depends on how good your passing is. You can't win,---if you cant get the ball to your 3 man bar. I know---because my left hand sucks! :)
@Labatomy2422 жыл бұрын
Paying attention to his right hand before the pass helps anticipate that this is coming. Good luck blocking his passes while watching his right hand. Can move your eyeballs separately?

Peace, we are playing the baby foot in Lebanon, and it has no union. We play this game in a taqniya that has no future in Lebanon.
@EarthSurferUSA3 жыл бұрын
I have noticed in the USA, if you don't belong to a union and try to get good at something,---you earn more skill. Take the USA constitution, make sure you keep government out of your free market, (free people created it), and start a new nation. It has to happen,---if we want a future worth living in as human beings. It is farm animals who can't figure out the difference. :)

@Klos1neMN4 жыл бұрын
No one is breaking any rules. These are the international rules of play and they are being accurately followed. Understandably you aren't familiar competitive foos, you have similar uneducated comments on several videos but wouldn't you feel more enlightened if you asked questions instead of making the same ignorant comments? You're incorrect in every comment that you make on these videos and yet you continue to do so. Don't you ever wonder why all these videos look similar? It's because that's how the game is actually played, not because you're correct and everyone else is wrong. Maybe ask more questions instead of making dumb comments, just sayin'.

@@Klos1neMN So answer me this Batman,---why does the table have 2 holes between the 5 guys to serve the ball? I have seen enough evolution in my lifetime to know----many new rules are just stupid.

For sure these table suck. Bonzini >all !
@EarthSurferUSA3 жыл бұрын
I just checked them out. They look like the old tables, (like the million dollar table), with the ramps in the corners and back to one goalie man on the bar. The old tables also had a bit more narrow goal hole than the Tornado tables do, but I don't know about the Bonzini tables. I like the Tornado tables. What is it about the old style that you like better? Not a big deal, but the guys on the Bonzini even look pretty retro. I just read they have a metal foot and the guy is not counter balanced. That would be a rejected table for me if I can't put the guys sideways. But I would love to pay on their best to see what it feels like.
