We have a tornado table at our school and me and my friends have been playing for half an hour everyday for 2 years at this point. I just watched this video and realized that without watching these we even developed habits doing these things. It’s amazing. Great video.

Pinning the ball was a biggie for me. One of the best pieces of advice I got was to be ready to back pin the ball right after the pass. Say you stick a lane, be read to back pin that ball right off as it starts to roll backwards; you won't always have a perfect dead-stop catch. Not even the masters can just stop it 100% of the time. Close, but not 100%. Also, front pins on the 5 bar will be a huge help when you make a steal or block.... pinning in general will help your ability to pick up lose balls... which is enormous.

I grew up on glass top Dynamo's and used the toe and heal much more than bouncing between the men. That allowed me to have multiple shots from the same starting point. I like a Tornado but it doesn't allow the same action as a glass top. Just wished they stayed with the Dynamo Glass Top. It was much more fun than a Tornado to play on. 90 percent of the players shoot one shot and that's a pull. Combo playing takes much more skill but everyone needs a money shot. Mine was a toe but I constantly moved the ball instead of setting up at the same spot. I could three man and do countless combos from the toe or heal. I could bounce it like this guy. He is telling you correctly. I practiced moving and passing by myself and that is when I started to excel. Am 57 and have had to shoulder surgeries so playing competitively is not possible. I grew up on a Dynamo glass top. They were just better than a Tornado in my opinion.

I just started watching these foosball videos because there's a football table in the lobby at my university and I thought it was pretty fun, I'm having a lot of trouble and honestly I partly blame the table. It's one of those old wooden things, it's impossible to pin the ball without it rolling backwards or forwards, the ball doesn't even bounce predictably, I think the table has humps... The ball also has little ridges... And it needs w40 all around. I'll keep practicing but I think this table is just bad.

With the Tornado table it is too easy I think because the players are very big at the side and it makes it more easy to play the ball with the side compare to the German tables. (Leonhart, Lehmacher)

I garantee you it isn't. I played and trained foosball regulary for about three months and then I was able to play stick wall passes on each side with the midfield and between the last man of the opponents midfield, was able to do the Tic-Tac with the defenders, the midfield and the strikers and could switch between back- and frontpin with each of those segments. I also learnt the snake shot (I live in Germany, here the "Snake-Shot" is mainly called "Jet", but I don't know why). Currently I'm able to shoot it into the corners and the middle of the goal and if I get time and oppotunity again I will practice shooting into the quarter brackets of the goal. As you probably already recognised I usually play as the striker. Neither the less I also practised shooting with the defenders. Regular pull-shots through the middle with each defender, as well as shots against the barrier on the left or the right side. (Over the left with the left defender, over the right with the right defender. Then I moved on to place the ball on the middle of the 16m room line from which I'm able to shoot over the left or right barrier with each defender. Unfortunately I wasn't able to use those that much, because I mainly played as striker due to my horrible defending abilities :) I can tell you: Practising takes a lot of time. And mastering something takes even more lots of time. But if you train regulary your playing will drasticly improve within a few weeks. For the beginning I would advise you to focus on ball control (Tic-Tac, Front- Backpin and changing between those). If you got proper ball control as your fundamental you can begin practising a shot. The snake-shot is relatively easy to learn and got lots of varieties to surprise defenders. Then go on to passing and catching the ball. If you are able to do all that you are good to go. From now on you can work on your consistency and your speed with all of those skills to improve your overall game.

Idk if you are making new videos but slow things down, you are really good at foosball but not everyone can maneuver as fast as you obviously and making some videos with slower movements and more basic movements at first, not everyone can do that super fast, for example a professional baseball player can tell me I need to hit the ball and do as he does but as I watch him I see what he is doing but it is difficult to mimic that movement so maybe try more basic drills to practice to prep for the fast pinning and tic tacing, it’s easy to tell everyone hey you need to do this and then just show off but bring it back down a bit and realize that some people on here are beginners and the way you move the ball seems almost impossible, just a thought man we all know you’re good, just slow it down and show us the basics

When I was a champ at Foos ball, we only played on Rene Pier tables. How ever you spell it. Those tables used cork balls and not these junk hard balls you see here. Most of our power shots were grabbing the ball with a pinch method and shoot so fast most times you could not even see the ball go into the hole. Also with a bell ringing sound when it hit. We were very good at the game and these tables I see here are cheap looking the the guys shooting here would not last two seconds with my friends and me.

3 keeper table 😳, pull shots are for ppl who don’t have true skills . That’s so easy to get past your opponent or scoring goals pulling or dragging the ball , that kills the true enjoyment & takes out the fast action skills that the game is able to showcase. The game has been misrepresented by allowing this in all comps. Stops & starts SO BORING
