Its utterly bizarre and surreal nature cannot be explained, only experienced, like a fever dream that lasts months. Much like an entheogen trip, you can either go with the flow, learn a lot, and have a lot of fun with it; or it can be hellish and miserable... it all depends on your mindset.

On a real note: check out the band Yob’s earlier material to hear what I think is some of the best metal vocals out there. The guy has range. He almost reminds me of an Ozzy who can growl like the wind. As in it sounds like his voice is literally turning into wind. Which happens to be one of my favorite things in good sludgy doom/spiff metal.

Hahahaha!!! I was in Costa Rica last December and saw howler monkeys. They were howling when we walked by and I told my friends that it was locals having band practice!!!
