Fantastic video, as always. Just one quick note; Ferdinand/Fernando III is usually addressed as king of Castile and Leon. It's the used term in documents of his time (plus Toledo, Galicia and later on andalusian kingdoms), and in present day historiography.

5# W the Conqueror!? Really, a man's funeral so marked by ill omens. A Christian Warrior-King should also be a moral pillar to his men. Baldwin the I. of Jerusalem should have gotten a spot on the list instead. He died a holy death, he accomplished much against odds and was a true knight among knights.

Honestly, Hastings should have gone the other way. Attacking up hill shield wall vrs shield wall was a rushed battle. Maybe he was afraid of his army not sticking together and felt like he had no choice. The opposition falling for the feigned retreat after hours must of broke Harold's heart, who had just won a battle, and race South to barely meet William. He must of felt great until he didn't.
