I got a 18 1.8t golf tuned for 290hp an run 17s with nitto 555s and it’s bad on corners I really needa get it set up I want it to be Sharp on turns

Keep up the work man, love the videos. I was wondering what short shifter combo you use? Also did you do the clutch pedal spring removal or the Clutch delay valve removal?

Thanks man! And I actually drive a DSG, After all of my research and realizing the standard clutch would be an issue I opted for the dsg.

never heard anyone talk about the engine mounts, thanks man will definitely look into it. also for your chassis, do your back seats still fit with it or do they need to be taken out?

The rear seats still fit no problem! I just have mine pulled out at the time for weight savings 😂

Hey I just saw ur latest video I really wanna run some 265 like you but idk anything about fitment in terms of rubbing. I also would like to keep the 18 inch diameter for my next set of wheels. What would you suggest.

I personally run 18 inch wheels as well (18x8.5) depending on your suspension you won’t rub. I personally only rub on big bumps no issue going lock to lock on the steering wheel. If you are on stock fenders you will need a little bit of camber to fit the tires if you are lowered a good bit. I will have a video coming out soon specifically about my tire setup! Make sure to Sub if you haven’t already so you don’t miss it!

Sport (lowering) springs combined with sport dampers (Bilstein or Koni) will out-perform inexpensive coilovers any day.

That was my experience with Eibach Sport Springs and Bilstein B8 Struts/Shocks. Loved the combination on my Mk7 GTI. Also had Eibach Race Sway bars installed.. 10mm spacers front and 15mm rear.

Question how did you get the quad tips for you exhaust?

My exhaust is a custom made catback I purchased the dual exhaust tips for either side with 3.5 inch outlets and 7 inch total diameter. I did this because of the ECS diffuser I am running has the space for dual tips.

@@ohiomaakhihiero7373 It is from ECS Tuning it is their carbon fiber diffuser replacement. They offer a few different ones though mine may be on back order now.

Braking upgrades should not be left until last. You've made your car go faster. Maybe WAY faster. Put some (much) better stoppers on it. How much do you value your life and the life's of others? Just my 2 cents worth.

You are right! Upgraded break pads and fluids are a must for these cars if you intend to drive it hard.
