Oh yeah. I love the “Errant Venture”. Bro took a warship and just thought, “You know, this would make for a bitching casino and hotel.” Put a red coat of paint on it and made a flying Vegas in space.

A *Raider Corvette.* It would make a good hero ship with its abilities and versatility. It also has very useful Electronic Warfare capabilities that open up a lot of possibilities. It has a nice weapons loadout and a small hanger that can hold a couple of fighters. Replace the Ties with hyperdrive snubfighters and that opens up even more options. As its sometimes used as the home base of Special Forces teams it would be perfect for a mercenary group/Rebels/Pirates. It needs just 2 to fly it, it's full compliment is 93 but that includes troopers so that number is not absolute.

The Rebels captured an ISD in the 2015 Comics. The only thing more difficult than taking it, was running it. I think they flew the Millennium Falcon around inside of it. On the other hand, the Ghost Crew completely disabled a Star Destroyer, Tarkin's *Sovereign*, and the majority of its crew all by their lonesome with one big EMP device packed in a TIE fighter. If they had a bigger crew, they might have taken the whole thing for themselves.

If you have the resources, a Super Star Destroyer. It isn't a warship it is a mobile naval base. With one you can dominate an entire sector. The trick is getting the resources to be able one and steal it.

Still want to know how he was able to crew it. Obviously you would not have thr stormtrooper garrison or the full complement of pilots, but what about ship's crew and stuff?

@@vic5015 Employees and slaving. It's theoretically possible to fully automate a Star Destroyer. But the Katana fleet disaster axed the research.

A *SuperStar Destroyer.* You just need about 280,000 - 320,000 individuals to crew it. So you can take your entire small city or large colony with you. So useful for a minor species that's in a rough neighbourhood and wants out. Great if you want to relocate everyone on a Outer Rim planet that's under threat. You can then go BattleStar Galactica style to find a new home or just use the SSD as a mobile city in space. As a side benefit you can exterminate whoever was threatening your original home in the first place with the SSDs firepower... And really destroy anyone you want to. While a Death Star can carry a lot more people and have even more firepower, the problem with them was they always got destroyed soon after construction, so none are generally available. With a SSD, maintenance and spare parts may be an issue, and the Empire will be annoyed about this ship in particular being stolen. Then there's the question of how do you steal it in the first place? Perhaps sneak on board human agents to sabotage the internal communications systems, so the massive crew then form into local tribal groups. Then have agitators trick the different factions into declaring war on each other?

This is a companion piece for your "Top 5 pirate ships". My own hero vessel in TTRPG is a Q-ship, made from an old Acclamator. In last adventure I wiped the floor with CR30 New Republic frigate, taking out it's secondary bridge, shield generators and missile banks in few opening salvos. Sound memories and a good hunting.

I'll take a Ton Falk-class escort carrier rather than the Quasar Fire. They have tons of hangar and other space, don't provoke the fight or flight response of Imperial triangles, are perfect for running all sorts of operations with whatever ships your friends have while acting as a home base of sorts, have well-stocked maintenance areas, and are unmatched at quick pickup and drop-off. Just the thing for maintaining a fleet of light ships that needs to move around a lot.

I know it's a ship from Legends, and not canon, but I rather like the Skipray Blastboat. For a ship of its size, its weapons packed quite a punch. Even though the variant seen in sourcebooks didn't have space for passengers, I imagine one could be modified, with the small cargo area retrofit into a somewhat crampt pasenger area, which a Rebel cell could use to transport a small team of saboteurs or similar teams behind enemy lines. In fact, in the WEG d6 Star Wars RPG campaign which I'm currently running, the team of Rebel PCs has one at their disposal.

Your #1 ship would be perfect for using as a mobile Black Market. Kinda hard for the Empire or New Republic to shut you down if the market can scoot to a new location whenever the owner feels like it.

I never knew the Errant Venture was anything more than a pirate ship. I didn’t know it was basically a mobile spaceport/city. Edit: oh, and the ship you’d find me stalking Republic scrapyards and Imperial surplus auctions for would be a Zeta-class transport shuttle. Very roomy, very practical! I feel they’d be a prime candidate for a complete civilian overhaul. They’ve already got living quarters and whatnot. May as well spruce it up a bit.

After Booster lost most of his guns to the new replublic, he was always struggling to find enough crew and parts to keep the Errant Venture flying. From memory he only kept lending his ship to the New Republic war effort against the Imperial Remnant Warlords, was to get replacement parts for hie ship.

If I went to steal an imperial ship, I'd try and get a Victory class, then I would modify it so it doesn't have the exposed generator domes but rather a shield generator that is actually protected by the shield, also a bit of modifications depending on what I intend to use the ship for and lastly, the paint, including my personal emblems (not my pfp here XD) EDIT: I'd probably rename it to Defeat class after I modify it, to symbolize the opposite

Any variety of the Imperial Shuttles could also be very easy to steal - the Sentinel-Class, Lambda-Class or Rho-Class, as we see in the Bad Batch!

I would love to see a video on the most.. Rational imperial ships. since imperial ships tend to be... well not rational. my quick list of Cannon ships Gozanti Raider Arquitens Dreadnought the 5 spot kind of depends, on if the Gladiator is truly cannon or not. (some list it as cannon but its "cannon appearance" is a TTRPG rulebook, and they dont tend to be/stay cannon) it would either be the Gladiator-Class or the Interdictor-Class

Was a terrible thing (for them, at least) of their senator to declare all of the people living there as terrorists (and declaring the entire planet as a hostile compound even shocked the imperial high command, I heard...), but at least it allowed the imperial forces to just remove the planet instead of having to conquer it street by street - that would have cost countless loyal imperial soldiers. As one of the Fetts told miss Leia (I refuse to call a terrorist "princess", even if that is the title she claims for herself): "you people started a war. People die in wars."

@@RadioFreeCoruscant I am truly sorry for the horrendous loss of life resulting from the destruction of alderaan, but let's be honest: no one could have known that the senator of alderaan would declare the entire planet as a combat zone without prior evacuation of the non-combatants - it surprised even imperial high command. But on the other hand: we have to be thankful for his declaration. Otherwise, the imperial army would have been forced to capture that planet street by street, house by house, at a horrendous loss of life of loyal imperial soldiers - organas declaration allowed the fleet to simply destroy the entire terrorist stronghold.
