They fail on a big scale thats right. But most seems to still be software issues. Nothing that cant be fixed. if this list would just take the capabilities into account it might be true. But saying its the best is a statement. The kf41 is basically a pumas capabilities on a cheap armour chassis and actually working and the cv90 are already combat proven.

I’d say the CV90 should be #1. It’s battle-proven. Have a better modular design than the Bradley. Yes, the Bradley is also battle-proven but, even through upgrades, it’s decades older than the CV90. German Puma is still having birthing issues.

Battle proven is a pretty dumb term. Like the Us Russia Sweden United Kingdom France Germany battle proven weapons might’ve worked against what the Taliban isis and some other insurgent groups. @@joeswanson5486 Bradleys being sent to Ukraine are Desert Storm-era variants. The same Bradleys that engaged the same T-62/72s, BMPs & BTRs that are currently battling in Ukraine. Bradleys proved effective against IFVs & main battle tanks, alike. That’s what I call battle proven. Javelins were used in Afghanistan. Proved to be as lethal to whatever they were used on. Battle proven. T-14 Armata… no where in sight in Ukraine. Not battle proven. F-22 Raptors haven’t engaged against opposing aircraft but used for ground attacks. Not proven in actual air combat. F-16s operated in a saturated air defended targets in Desert Storm. Battle proven. To me, a weapon system that has entered conflict zones where they’ve received incoming enemy fire that could destroy it have been battle proven. Even a lowly RPG-7 can destroy nearly every IFV in the world.

T34 is battle proven, so it's better? Stupid nonsense. A newer vehicle with more features is better than old vehicles with less equipment, doesn't matter if the old vehicle has seen more combat against poor rebels, it still doesn't change the fact that it's technically inferior. Besides the CV90 never faced modern military weapons anyway. It doesn't even have any anti tank missiles, so it would have a hard time against enemy tanks. I do agree that the CV90 is still one of the best IFV in the world (at last in the most part), but the fact that it lacked ATGM for over 30 years was a very big problem in the past But at least they finally fix this problem with the newest version Mk. IV which will enter service soon in 2024~2025, finally giving the CV90 a missile bow in the future...

The bmp 3 is kinda bad. Idk even know where to start explaining... but it's survivability is just straight and plain horrible, the fire power is good to great, having both an autocannon and a 100mm cannon makes it very capable with its firepower and mobility... I can't speak on that. From what I can gather, the mobility is pretty good to decent.

Lets just put this out there. The CV90, especially the later models are far more dangerous than the Lynx, Puma or Bradley fighting vehicles. They are more modern, the cannon is much larger, the types of ammunition 3p programmable ammunition is deadly as hell. It can air-burst at set ranges, it would annihilate every single Russian in ANY trench with ease from kilometers away. The weight of this IFV is almost as much as the Russian MBT (main battle tanks). Close to 40 Ton. The CV9040 is a highly aggressive vehicle, designed to control the initiative by staying mobile instead of slowing things down to a walk. Aggressive maneuvering is what the CV9040 is designed to do, outmaneuving vehicles and killing them in the flank and charging enemy positions to drop off soldiers right ontop of the enemy. These tactics have been part of the Swedish doctrine since the late fifties as seen in vehicles like the PBV301 and PBV302. And it was directly copied from the German playbook of WW2, where the German panzergrenadiers/dismounts fought more often than not from their halftracks, allowing them to keep pace with the tanks and also maintain initiative through aggressive maneuvering. A Bradley is not designed for that type of combat. It's essentially an APC that drops off troops 100m from the fight. The CV9040 drops off troops within 0-50m from the enemy position, or simply drives up to it and let's the troops fight mounted. In Afghanistan it was apparently tremendously deadly. The Danish or Norwegians were caught in some kind of fight/ambush and they annihilated the enemy.

That's the exact thing Bradley's did in gulf war. Tow missiles changed the game. Ifv was used very aggressively. Sometimes firing multiple shots taking multiple mbt tanks. Greatest tank battles did a episode on it that was great.

Yah the thing they fail to mention is that we have over four thousand Bradleys. Better to have 10 pretty good IFVs than 1 "super" IFV, and the only difference is the old reliable tech on ours.
