Really nice top 5. Heat tolerant cultivars are a must for Texas. Less heat tolerant cultivars need good protection out here. Having large shade trees helps a ton. I have also built several shaded structures in my backyard. I have been collecting for a measly 3 months and am up to 53, so I know the addiction is real. All of my trees are doing good out here. I am always on the hunt at many nurseries. Super Dragon is awesome and Metro Maples is a good place to pick those up in the DFW Metroplex.
