I don't consider Sybille evil because: -She feeds on "volunteering prisoners." I'm not totally sure the details of how they get selected, but the other wizard mentions it as an alternative to the headman's axe. This suggests that she feeds on prisoners who are going to get executed anyways. As a vampire, she does need to feed to keep her strength, and at least she's not going after random civilians and hiding it. -She hates other vampires. She has no allegiance to other vampires and will even task the LDB to kill them. Despite being a vampire, she seems to be on the side of humanity and not her own kind. She seems to e kind of an anti-hero character. She's also mentioned that she doesn't particularly care if the empire falls, but that said, she performs her duties diligently and is a valuable member of the court. Perhaps she doesn't like being a vampire, but she's found a life she's content with, and wishes to make herself as useful as possible. If nothing she's cynical, not evil.

Npc dialogue reveals Sybille has been hanging around Solitude, Potema's city, for a very long time, generations even. When you beat Potema, Sybille becomes completely depressed and goes to bed for the rest of the game, never getting up for anything. It's obvious, Sybille clearly knew Potema back in the day. This isn't some necromancer trying to resurrect an evil historical figure for personal power, Sybille was a friend of the Wolf Queen.

Ysolda does not sell the sap to the Redwater Den. The vampires at Redwater Den make Skooma which is specifically distilled Moonsugar. Redwater Skooma is made by taking the Skooma cooking process and distilling it with the blood found in the throne room which make it highly addictive and more powerful high. The head vampire literally has this written in his diary.

In oblivion, the quest for Clavicus Vile is retrieving Umbra and giving it to him. Once in Clavicus's realm, Umbra steals a lot of his essence, weakening him (its why clavicus is in such a sorry state in Skyrim), and using that power to create his own form and a flying castle, complete with his own hist trees. Umbra was defeated, but it was his castle that crashed into read mountain, destroying Morrowind. The Sleeping Tree you get the sap from is one of the hist trees from his fortress and the effect from the sap is literally Umbra's essence trying to take over new hosts.

Ingun Black-Briar. I actually didn’t know about her for a long time, and when I found her, she seemed like the only good Black-Briar, simply obsessed with her alchemy and distant from the family. But then you get her quest to retrieve three different ingredients: deathbell, nightshade, and nirnroot. A few of her dialogue options reveal that she doesn’t want to become a typical alchemist, but instead is obsessed with poisons, and even mentions her desire to “ply my talents in darker circles”, and the woman who runs the alchemy shop mentions that she tests her poisons on animals. I wouldn’t go so far as to say that she’s worse than Sibbi, but she’s pretty bad

Red Water Den having Sleeping Tree Sap doesn't make Ysolda their supplier. It's not unreasonable to assume there are other criminals that harvest the sap. Now that doesn't necessarily make it any better that she sells it at all, but it's unlikely that she's supplying it to them.

Ysolda doesn't supply Redwater, the vampires there mix the fruit punch from the spring in the basement into specially mixed skooma. Ysolda pays people to recover the magic tree juice and she sells it to the Khajiit Caravans (as evident by how she says she can "talk the Khajiit Caravans into a better price than [Ulag] would be able to" in the note we can find on Ulag's body). It's two completely separate operations. Just because a bottle of Sleeping Tree Sap can be found in Redwater Den doesn't mean it came from Ysolda. Maybe it's a bottle Ulag recovered and sold to Redwater, which Ysolda found out about, hence the note, or maybe the Caravans buy from Ysolda and then sell to Redwater, which she has no control over.

What about Muiri? During the Dark Brotherhood quest, she contracts you to kill Alain Dufont , which is fair considering what he did. However, she also has an extra task of killing Nilsine, who was supposedly her best friend, for no other reason than she was upset that they distanced themselves from her after she was framed. Sure, she had good reason to be upset, but having Nilsine killed as a petty revenge on Tova was evil.

The Little People in the Riften Orphanage (which doubles as the Little Peoples Embassy in Skyrim) who cannot be killed or attacked and have secretly mind-controlled all of Skyrim with their powerful fairy-story Spells. Grelod, a powerful Mage knew this so one of the Little People who had his Sweetroll stolen decided to have her killed for the slight. Damn those Nords!

Only been playing a few months (recently retired), now I have to find the quest for the vampire master. Sybil? Evil? Not really. I'd hire someone like her in a heartbeat. Her age gives her unique insights into court intrigue and how to counter it. You know the High King had to know if she "practically" raised him. She has come to terms with what she is and yes, uses it to survive, but, the fact that she uses outlaws in the dungeons as a food source is A+ for recycling and resource management. What's not to like?😁

Always thought of Muiri as a lesser known evil NPC. If you don't play through the Dark Brotherhood quest line she just sounds like a woman with a pretty decent grudge against some old friends who blame her for getting tricked by a thief and bandit leader, but if you talk to her during that quest she turns out t be taking her grudge way too far.

There is a lot more to sybelle. Theory is that she is tied or bound to the wolf queen in some way. When the peasant talks about the cave sybelle tries to dismiss it as superstition. And when talking to her she'll ask you to go clear a vamp den instead. But after stopping potemas summoning, you'll later get a quest to clear her from the catacombs. When you complete this quest, sybelle suddenly starts sleeping all the time rather than be in the throne room. No one knows for sure what was linking potema to the world still, but my theory is that sybelle may actually be a part of potema.

@@joshuagross3151 Yeah, she's a skilled undead mage that tortures and feeds on the populace, actively advises us to not go to cave (she lays it on really thick that she wants Dragonborn to stay away from the caves... if she thought there was nothing there, she'd have no reason to tell us to ignore them) and has been a shadow ruler of Skyrim for long enough to likely remember the Wolf Queen and right now Skyrim is all kinds of fucked up, which makes it the perfect situation to ressurect her old queen, take back Skyrim and profit from the conflict between all other sides. I'm certain she's innocent and there is nothing sinister about your waifu.

@@cyryl3827 _Criminals,_ not the populace. She feeds on criminals in the Castle Dour dungeons, specifically the ones waiting for the headsman's axe. How many bandits has the LDB killed? And Falk Firebeard also tells you it's nothing, either brigands or animals, but I hear no accusations about him. In fact, he stays awake throughout the Wolf Queen questline and doesn't return to his normal sleep schedule until after you vanquish Potema. Why isn't he suspected? Finally, piss off with the waifu crap. If you don't have a real argument, don't pull shit like that.

Ok, i basically always married her. Never knew she sold drugs. Even after i discovered it, i realized i was an alchemist myself, that i mass produced paralize and damage health potions, used probably as a way to kill people, that i inflated the economy, due to the fact that my potions of water breathing made with salmon roe costed like 7k gold, the merchants were forced to buy them, but no one could buy them back from the merchant. So in the end, we were both shit, but we loved eachother.

@@aeureus That is very, very wrong. While yes, the child should be born with the mother's race and some of the father's traits, the two races can merge over thousands of years. Bretons are not elvish blooded Imperials or Nords, they are their own race which came from a continuous relationship between the Nedes (One of the three original human races to come to Tamriel, alongside Atmorans and Yokudans) and the Aldmer.

Sybille is evil as hell. I'm convinced she's the one who actually resurrected the Wolf Queen. It wasn't until it was pointed out to me that I realized, she completely shoots down the idea of investigating the cave where the ritual is happening and when you do defeat Potema Sybille goes to sleep for the rest of the game. I used to think it was a glitch but completing this quest is the trigger for Sybille the npc to just give up on life and sleep for the rest of your playthrough.

Hey Avarti what would happen if the three protagonists from Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim appeared in elder scrolls 6 if they threat is a akaviri invasion from Kao Pu Tung that is. Because the Nerevarine could proabably try and warn Tamriel and tell the Dragonborn to become emperor and prepare the empire for the threat while the champion of cyrodil/ Sheogoaroth then comes down to Tamriel during the war to spread his own brand of cheesy chaos.

Personally, I think Bethasda would rarely do something like this as they wouldn't want to contradict whatever character the players made for themselves except of the Hero of Kvatch as they(probably) became Sheogorath and thud is definitely in the TES6. The Nevarine could act as someone who never actually appears but still affects the story line (similar to the Aedra gods) by attacking the enemy in their own homeland whilst having the MC attempt to defend tamriel from tamreil. The LDB could be anywhere tbh, so I can't think of a use for them.

I want to add, If You kill the Abusive father Lemkil, You get a thank you letter from Sissel saying "I know you killed him. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. In fact, I wanted to thank you. He will not be missed." Also if you harm one of Lemkil's kids he gives you 50 septum's! I don't know if that's broken or not, but it says if he gives you the gold the quest is never completed.

I would have to disagree, although yes, she kills prisoners but that's mostly people who won't be getting out not to get infamy, killing those who did discusting things. Also she raised Torryg and now helping Elisif with governing the hold and cares for her job and people and doesn't use her power to kill innocents like Harkon and many other Vampires did. Overall she's a good character, grey at worst but not evil by a long shot
